WTD - iPhone 4 16GB
Hi all and Happy New Year to all on HUKD
I have been watching iPhone 4 sales here for a while and have now decided to switch to the dark side from Android now that prices are becoming sensible.
So I am looking for a decent condition iPhone 4 16GB preferably officially unlocked or on Orange. (Other networks considered if the price is right ! ) Phone should have no major damage and no visible scratches to the screen. Phone must be fully functional. No spares / repairs please!
I have been on HUKD long enough to know most of the iPhone scams so no new members trying to fob off blocked / insurance claims / stolen phones please. Seller will be required to prove proof of ownership.
Other than that, please let me know what you have, along with photos in the normal format and price including delivery.
As can be seen from my feedback I have dealt with mobiles many times here before so know the ropes and can be trusted in all dealings.

can you post some pics of the blemishes?
was it originally on Orange or T-Mobile? - the SIM locks are no interchangable.

It looks far, far worse in the pic then it actually is (i bought the phone 2 weeks ago, and i only noticed them last night while under direct light)

ah sorry - if it's one T-Mobile then it will not take an Orange SIM card
at least it does not work the other wat around

yes you can roam onto the other network but the phones rae single metwork sim locked
so sorry I am out - unless you can get a cleap / free unlock from T-Mobile

Is there a way to find out for sure, i dont have any sim witht he phone as i do not have a micro sim and ive just been using it in flight mode to get a feel for the phone

I would want to see it showing as connected to Orange - and not T-Mobile/Orange in roaming mode.

TBH that is much more than I had budgeted for - can get one on Orange with some warranty for £295 via online retailer
I see the Otterbox case is worth some money but would not want that anyway
and also as you have no feedback i would want you to post first
so unfortunately unless you can offer a much better price for the phone only and you are in the Birmingham area i would say this is not for me - sorry

yes I would prefer an unlocked one but as I will almost certainly stay with orange when my contract expires at teh end of this month - a phone locked to Orange is also an option.
So what would be your best price for the phone only - no extra cases?

I use a t mobile sim in my orange iphone 4. Never had any problems uses a 3g signal also. I even had to have it exchanged for a new handset which was also locked to orange and that worked too.

very odd :)
my spare t-mobile sim would not work in my BB 9700 until it was unlocked
Also Orange help say that T-Mobile sims will not work in a locked Orange handset.
For me not worth the risk - further additional charges if caught out !
