Looking to buy a 5th or 6th gen iPod classic. Ideally looking for 60/80GB+ but will consider anything. Plenty of eBay feedback as well.

Condition not hugely important as it will sit in a dock. What have you got? :)

Would also consider an early gen touch if the price was sub <£100

I have an iPod classic 120GB in silver for sale. Was just having a look here to see if anybody was looking for one before I stuck it on ebay.

I think it's 6th gen - I bought it in 2009 if that helps though, and the model number off the box is MB562ZO/A, but I don't know what the difference is between 5th, 6th etc. It looks identical to all the 6th gens that are on ebay.

Comes with the original box. If possible, I'd like to keep the sync cable, but you're welcome to it if required. Same with the headphones - I've never used them, so would have to find them, but sure that wouldn't be a problem!

Condition is good - technically excellent, no problems at all. It hasn't been used in over a year since I got my iphone, and hasn't been plugged into itunes so if there are any updates or anything those haven't been done. Cosmetically the front cover and the screen are in perfect condition as far as I can see, but there are scratches to the back as you always seem to get on these.

I've got over 5,000 Ebay feedback at 100% (I sell clothing in my ebay shop), as well as a secondary account with 170-odds that I sell my old tat on. I've only sold one item on here which was my iPad and got good feedback for that.

Looking at the sold prices on ebay, I'd be looking for £100 for this, including special delivery. Let me know if of any interest - can send photos if you're interested.

Prices seem to be a bit erratic on eBay to be honest, hence looking on here. I could offer £80 delivered via paypal gift or BT. Would need the 'phones and sync cable though :)

Let me know.

Bit too small thanks topcat. I'm looking to put my entire collection on something if possible so I on't have to keep swapping albums about in iTunes.

Would meet you halfway at £90 including cables and earphones, but couldn't go any less. I think a lot of them on eBay are damaged hence the mixed prices, but yeah - EBay is a bit of a mess. I'd be putting it on there at £120 BIN, looking at prices of sold items and given my feedback.

Could go to £85 based on this which finished on eBay tonight without any bids. The item seems very similar to yours and his feedback is good. Would save you a fair wedge on eBay and paypal fees.

If it's a go-er I could send funds tonight.

Just realised the link failed miserably. It's on eBay anyway.

Hard to say without the link, but a search of completed items has most of them in the £90-£130 range - many of them have crap photos, minimal descriptions and low feedback (i.e.tens or hundreds rather than thousands). After fees I could probably clear £120 on a buy-now shop listing. Also bear in mind this unit is barely used so the battery will be in excellent condition. It's probably only had the equivalent of a weeks heavy use, and spent the rest of the time sitting in a drawer (where the scratches on the rear came from). Given that I'm including official Apple headphones, a barely used sync cable and the box in good condition I reckon it's well worth £90 - £5 of that will be postage anyway.

Let us know either way if you want it for £90 - if so great as it saves me hassle, but if not no worries as I'll list it either here or eBay this evening. Cheers!

Recieved this morning. In excellent condition including four jiffy bags!! Will obviously need the day to use it and check for any faults with it being electrical but all seems good. Cheers.

Yeah, better safe than sorry with the extra packaging!!

Should have said - apologies for the enormous selection of cack music :D

Seems to be working great so will leave feedback now. I had considered sending it back because of the music though...........

99 Red Balloons?!?! :)

Bloody postmen, have they nothing better to do than load crap compilation albums onto iPods in transit???

Glad you're happy, thanks again. Will leave feedback now, if I can remember how.
