I have bought second hand laptops (Ebay etc) and they are a risk. Have bought three from Dixons - they come in a brown box - but are as new!

Lynds go for the dixon one, or maybe give your dad the other one you bought recently and buy this for yourself maybe?

Thats the link for the advent deal. Its got a years warranty as well so any problems they will repair or replace.

Hi,

I have Hewlett Packard Nx9010 business notebook which is sitting and gathering dust as I practically never use it (have a little netbook). Its been very rarely used therefore not sure the state of the battery as when i use it i tend to use mains (may need charging) but otherwise in perfect working condition.

Very robust and has genuine windows XP as well as a whole host of genuine microsoft software worth a ton (Microsoft Office 2003, publisher, project and i think Acrobat writer).

Some specs:

768MB RAM
40GB hard drive
DVD rom
Case

Open to offers if you're interested.

Hi Lynds,

Paid nearly £600 when and that was without the software!

Anyway, if you can stretch to £140 plus delivery than we can have a deal (unless your in London and want to collect!) . Normally, would have asked for closer to £200 but as mentioned not sure about the battery as it hasn't been used for a while.

Let me know.
