lol I don't remember any more! I thought if something was wanted, the OP had to state a price or it becomes a bidding war.

Edit: What about this?

LISTING A TRADE, SALE OR REQUEST

(6) You MUST specify a legitimate asking price for every item in your listing, this includes items for trade only and is for comparison 'like for like' reasons. Sellers listed price CANNOT be altered once offers have been made. Items already listed must NOT be listed in ANY other active thread. This is NOT an auction site, bidding on items is strictly NOT allowed.

I'm pretty sure thats for the seller, do you have one for sale or just spoiling the thread?

FS/FT rules
(14) Please ONLY post in a thread if you are interested in engaging in the sale/trade listed. Anything else will be considered thread spoiling and will be deleted. Thread spoilers, including threadjackers, face a ban from the FS/FT forum. If a member continually posts questions in multiple threads and then withdraws from the sale this will be considered thread spoiling. Low ball offers will also be considered thread spoiling and will be deleted. It is up to the original poster to use the 'report' button to notify moderators of any thread spoiling.

You only have to list a price if selling/swapping items.

Rule 6 does go on to mention sellers.

I'll leave the comments in for clarification , no need for anyone to acknowledge.

In response to the original post, I may well have one available at some point. I know that doesn't help right now but I need to wait and see whether another member ends up selling me their Benq drive. Unfortunately, it was you who put them off the sale to me temporarily by suggesting he sent his 360 back to Microsoft!! :p

If he ends up selling me his Benq drive after he's tried getting it fixed by MS, I'll let you know about my Lite-on if you've not found one by then. It's only 8 months old and works perfectly, it's never not read a disc first time.

If you're looking to swap your lite-on for a benq, you'll need to open the Lite-On (to obtain the DVD key data) and therefore break the seal.

This isn't meant as thread spoiling - just trying to save someone a little grief!

Gah! I'm guessing there's no way to do this without opening the drive, right?

Correct - sorry to be the bearer of bad news :(

Yeah thats most likely the case. I say just go for it, they see the seal on the case and XBOX most likely send you out a refurb.

I'm after one for two reason's main one being that my mates 360 has stopped reading discs, authentic ones at that too. Would you consider £20 delivered for the benq?
#23
£5.00 delivered for a dead one.

M$ wont care anyway, they just check for seal on xbox casing.
