Hi there.

I have a Macbook Pro for sale, it's a first gen model (A115). 2ghz core duo, 15.4", 2gb RAM, 320gb Harddrive (upgraded), 128mb ATI X1600 dedicated graphics card, 'N' enabled Airport Extreme Card (Upgrade)

Comes with 2 batteries (one only lasts ~2 hours), power cord with extension plug and shorty plug, Apple Remote and all original DVD's. Screen in great nick, no dead pixels. It is the Matte anti-glare option so great for traveling around with and limiting glare. I will also supply with OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard DVD as well as provide you with one of my iLife 09 licenses as I will be getting a new mac and will get that free with my new Mac anyhow.

Its 4 years old, still going very strong. It previously had a 3 year applecare attached to it, this has now expired 12 months ago. Recently opened and had a full clean out to get rid of dust etc. It has a few small signs of wear as expected of its age, just a few scratches here and there. Nothing deep, just surface scuffs to the lifd where I have brushed against an ornament on my dining table or a slight rub on the base if someone had left an oversize crumb on there. One of the rubber feet is missing but the laptop does not rock from corner to corner on a flat surface so no worries there. The rubber foot is attached to a raised plastic mound hence it doesn't make even a millimeter of difference.
Only problem is that the "right" and "down" key on the keyboard have ceased working. This happened abruptly about 8 months ago, I think I may have been a bit heavy as I realised that I used those two keys quite a lot when they ceased working! Nonetheless, the keyboard is still very useable without them. The keyboard itself is in fine condition apart from that, all keys are responsive and work without a hitch. You can replace the keyboard if you want, just keep your eye out on eBay and you can pick up a second hand one for ~£20 on occasion when someone is breaking one. Buying new will set you back £50-60.

Apart from the 2 dead key issue, this is a great little machine. It has performed incredibly admirably and has never skipped a beat. The dedicated graphics cards is a great benefit if you require a more graphic intensive machine and will allow you to play games in Mac and Windows with ease.

Considering the issues, I'm looking for £375 delivered. Pictures available upon request.

Righto, here they are. As you can see, it is in very good condition for its age. A good clean with a mild solvent will do it some good, scratches are only surface ones. Most of the blemishes you can see are actually smudges of things!

Two little revisions I need to make you aware of though. I only have the OS X Leopard DVD, not snow leopard as I previously had described. Apologies, I forgot I used my brothers family pack license to upgrade this. If you would like, he is happy for you to have the license but will not provide the DVD for you to keep. I also realised I should still have the original box too but I will have to wait till this weekend to check if my folks have not thrown it out of their house yet.

I did a little more research into the price I have quoted you. Tbh, I think the price I set was very low. I would like to revise that price to £410. http://www.mac2sell.net values my macbook at £420 but you usually add +10% to that value, plus you are getting an updated OS and an extra battery. Considering the 2 non-working keys and the replacement cost of a keyboard, I think this is a more representative value of my mac. A search on eBay throws up a number of completed listings ~£450-500 for macs at the same spec but in much worse conditions. Broken (non-working) macs are going sub £400 so I still believe this to be a very good price:

Picture of keyboard?

http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/1338/p1050588.jpg - bottom picture. You want a pic of the whole keyboard? None of the keys have any signs of rubbing off, it looks immaculate. This pic highlights a little wear just beneath the spacebar but its only cosmetic on the body of the mac.
