Anything over 2GB IS SDHC

an interesting read... guess it's similar to USB 1.1 and 2.0 (just without the backwards compatibility).

I paid £11 + delivery for a couple of 4gb sandisk memory cards.

I can send you one for 9 inc delivery.

You may be able to find them even cheaper??

I don't know if it makes any difference, but neither of the cards you have provided a link to are Micro SD cards like what the OP has requested.

You will be hard pressed to find a 4gb non-HC. They are no longer made and were only made in small numbers by sandisk and sold in Japan. If its for an R4 (1st run DS card) than they have issues and dont work so well. If its for a mobile phone the chances are that a software update is available so you can use HC cards.

He does not want a microSDHC. He is looking for a non-HC one.

Would the microSDHC work with an N5 revolution card? (sorry, bit new to the DS thing . . . )

Yes the N5 supports microSDHC cards upto 8gb. There is a known problem with the N5 that on the Mk1 DS light it can blow the internal fuse. If its less than 2 years old it wont be a problem as Nintendo changed the design. You may want to look at the Toptoy DSTT instead.

What, nintendo changed the design of the DS LITE to accomodate the use of a Flash cart that potentially kills their game sales, or did you mean that nintendo changed the N5 cart? either way it wasnt nintendo that did anything hehe..

Which dodgy chineese company manufactures these N5 cards in the back of their shed anyways?

No Nintendo changed the design of the main board. I have no idea why (prob to save money). It was just good luck that they solved a problem that at the time didn't exist as the N5 was not available when the change was made.
