Buy a normal wii and mod yourself or get people to do it. There are companies who do for you. Go on Dealextreme to buy the Chip.
Hope that helped!

If you want a D2CPro fitted then you can get one fixed to a wii-clip from ozmodchips or techsick.

The Wii-clip is a connector which allow you to connect the chip to your wii without soldering, so if you buy this, you can just open up the wii yourself, clip the whole thing on, and play.

Reviews seem good so far, but cant vouch from them yet (My D2CKey and Wii-clip order from techsick is in the post just now) works out at about £50 quid all in, maybe even cheaper.
So there you go, you'd get a modded wii for £230 rather than £280

Hope this helps

Yeah but the thing about wii clip is it covers up a big ol venting hole in the drive. That hole must be there for a reason and I wouldn't be suprised if the wii clip will kill drives much quicker because of heat issues.

I may be interested in selling my modded Wii - it's got a Wiinja Delxue in it. Drive is around a year old and functions perfectly.

Would be asking £220 delivered though. Not quite 100% on selling it, but would that be something you're interested in? If it is I'll have a little think and might say yes.. Need to raise some funds for a Dell laptop someone is selling in another thread!

If the OP isn't interested I am. have already bought argos vouchers to but a wii but could use them for something else if I can get a modded wii. It will be a few days before my BT clears and my vouchers are sent out, so you got a few days thinking time with me. Anymore info on it in the meantime will be helpful, thanks.

EDIT: Withdrawing interest

More info - comes boxed with everything normally included, cables, stand, nunchuck, wiimote, wii sports. I also have a component cable and a 512mb SD I can throw in. Also have another wiimote and nunchuck but I'll probably sell those separately.

I may post some pics - still thinking about whether or not to say goodbye to my baby.

Wii:
I'm selling due to not using it much; I've barely played any of the Virtual Console games and other than being able to play Super Mario Galaxy a few weeks early I haven't used the WiiKey much either. The only thing 'wrong' is it has a duplicate weather channel; I shoved this on the last channel page (it makes no difference to the Wii, it works perfectly).

Anyway, pictures:

http://img367.imageshack.us/img367/7123/wii2ng1.jpg
http://img364.imageshack.us/img364/7947/wii3ou8.jpg

VC games:
ActRaiser (SNES)
Ristar (MegaDrive)
Streets of Rage (MD)
Sword of Vermillion (MD)
Dragons Curse (TurboGFX)
The Story of Thor (MD)
Zelda 1 (NES)
Zelda: aLttP (SNES)
Zelda: OoT (N64)
Sonic 1 (MD)
Super Mario Bros (NES)
Super Mario World (SNES)
Paper Mario (N64)

All the VC games were bought with Wii Points, so there aren't any CC details on the console (so they're all included).

I'll include a tri-wing screw-driver too, so if you ever need to open the Wii up you can.

£240

EDIT: Would be willing to part exchange for vouchers/another Wii (just don't use the WiiKey/VC games, y'see).

If you decide to go fwd on this I will offer £230 if you throw in the extra wiimote ad nunchuck

EDIT: just noticed it's "about a year old". Presume that means more than a year, so will have to think about this some more. Offer temporarily on hold. Logging off for an hour or two, back later.

EDIT2: No interest any longer. See a few posts later for reason.

Thinking about it, I bought some VC games using a debit card on the console (Sonic 2 and Mario 64). Can these details be removed?

I've got a wii with wiikey installed and 2x wii motes. 1x nunchuck

Anyone interested?

Details? Price? Based where? Feedback? Pics?

EDIT: Btw, I should note again that I realise that I am not the OP - so all offers should be open to OP first or sellers should set up their own threads. Sorry OP, not meaning to hijack.

an understandable concern, but most people dont really seem to think that its going to be an issue. Certainly one argument Ive seen come up, is that if there is any problems, you could just remove the clip and send it to Nintendo for repair (If you open it properly, there shouldnt be any visible signs/broken seals etc).
Also, its worth noting that it doesnt totally cover the hole: it'll still let (Some) air through.

Its something I'm not personally going to worry about too much, and I'm certainly not going to be using the card that comes with it. Im sure a cooling stand would eliminate any concerns too.

Isnt there a way to 'restore to factory settings' under the options menu somewhere?

Nearly forgot this price. I withdraw my offer for the modded wii. I'd be better off getting a new wii under warranty and adding this, esp as it won't invalidate the warranty.

£215. Its just the wii console, with wii sports, wii play and 2 controllers, 1 nunchuck, standard AV cable and Power adaptor. Its a genuine wiikey too, with the newest update on.

I have feedback on ebay, dont know if I should post it here or PM.

Pic's i'll have to take..

Its really hard to open the console without making it obvious its been opened... And opening the console voids warranty AFAIK?

And you need a special screwdriver to open it, which adds to the cost.

Screwdriver costs about a quid. You just have to be extremely careful when removing the white stickers that cover the screw holes, it's really easy to damage them or the plastic around them.
