WTD: N64 Games and Accessories

I picked up an N64 this morning and am now looking for some games to keep it company, as listed below. I would prefer fully complete games in as good condition as possible (i.e. original box, insert, instructions and cartridge), but would consider cartridge only titles.

I also need an expansion pack, memory card and possibly some rumble packs. So let me know what you have.

Wanted games off the top of my head are as follows:

Banjo Tooie
Castlevania
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Jet Force Gemini
Lylat Wars
Majora's Mask
Mario 64
Mario Tennis
Perfect Dark
Paper Mario
Resident Evil 2
Smash Bros
Turok 2

I may have missed out some classics, in which case they can be included to in spirit. I already have Goldeneye and Mario Kart cartridges, so whilst boxed versions of those would be welcome they are not a priority.

Right now the accessories are priorities over the games, but we'll see how things go.

If you source some unboxed games and would like the boxes I've got a couple of boxes you might be interested in, all in very good condition. I have the original lylat wars box which included the rumble pack (so quite a big box) also have Mario kart I think..

great starting place to check out for more of the bits (more accesories) to an n64 is cashconverters, i managed to pick up an expansion pack for £1.50, theyll usually have some trashy games but have the occaisonal better boxed ones, should have some rumble packs etc real cheap

Sounds interesting. I'd appreciate it if you could have a quick look at what you have. I already have Mario Kart so if you have the box that would be great. Is it just the boxes you have or inserts/instructions as well?

Thanks for the tip. Might have to do a bit of snooping around the high streets.

aye CEX, game, grainger games and gamestation dont really dabble in any of it anymore, when i was big time interested in it back in the day gamestation had specific individual stores which handled all of the retro game stock or sumthing... that was when i asked at one in leeds but you'd have to ask in store to find out what they do nowadays,

i have a few titles such as mario golf and mario tennis all boxed in nice condition i might look at moving on but it would have to be at the collectible kinda prices if you were interested....

also have rarer titles such as Aidyn chronicles boxed with leaflet, but i dont think i could ever part with the old zeldas :D

I can only say no. To be honest I'm not entirely sure where I stand with the collectible stuff. I have been building a bit of a retro collection in the past couple of months without really realising it, and I'm clearly buying stuff with a view to keeping a decent collection as well as playing (hence me wanting things boxed). Not really sure what my limits would be in terms of buying, or just how 'collectible' I want my purchases to be. But by all means if you are considering moving some of your things on then throw up a list and I'll give it some thought.

lol okey doke here comes a list at you, more like a catalogue of games!! ill price everything for the games and we could sort out postage at the end if you were interested in anything, they are all boxed with leaflets i believe with the exception of mystical ninja goemon 2 which doesnt have the leaflet i think... Silicon Valley- £9 - with booklet, some slight rubbing and creasing
Goldeneye- £6 - slight rubbing, with leaflet good overall condition
Mystical ninja goemon- £15 - slight creasing and rubbing with leaflet
Mystical ninja 2 - £30 - no leaflet creased box
Aidyn Chronicles- £35 - good condition with one slight patch of print missing on front, has booklet
Gauntlet Legends- £13 - cant remember, has all its bits

the next lot are all really in very good condition overall, not detracting from some of the former ones i just cant be arsed writing them all up....

Mario tennis- £10
Banjo Kazooie- £5
Mario Golf- £12
Mario Party- £16
Mario Kart- £12
Super Smash Bro's- £17
Super Mario- £7

have pokemon snap boxed in a little rough condition id do for about £4 and a few carts like buck bumble and duke nukem id just throw in for free if you bought a bit of stuff...

just a note about the ones above, its hard to write condition without it souding heavilly critical you would have to see pictures of any you were interested in really, i have quite a few of the original white cardboard inserts but not them all (i actually made some by cutting up cereal boxes back when i was collecting a couple of years ago)

EDIT: the spare carts are jet force gemini and duke nuke em, also just found i have diddy kong racing cart only

lylat wars- £5 - VGC with booklet
Super Mario- £7
Interested in these from the list, as well as Jet Force Gemini and Diddy Kong Racing. Is Lylat Wars in the big box with the Rumble Pack? Do these have inserts as well as instructions? Any chance of some pics of those?

You wouldn't happen to have any of the accessories knocking around would you?

That would be great, thanks. Not so much interested in the steering wheel and pedals, but certainly potentially interested in the rumble pack plus memory card, expansion pack, or anything along those lines.

Not a problem; just get pictures up when you can. No worries if you don't want to sell Mario either; I have no intention of trying to force people into selling things that they want to keep hold of! Might want to go straight for the big boxed Lylat Wars, but throw a picture up of yours anyway. It might be enough to change my mind. The memory card sounds good if you can find it.

Mario Kart 64
Condition: 7.5/10. Comes with manual, no insert. Can include the cartridge for it too.

WCW vs NWO
Condition: 9.5/10 . Comes with manual but no insert.

F1 World Grand Prix
Condition: 9.5/10. Comes with manual no insert.

Diddy Kong Racing

Condition:6.5/10. Comes with manual, insert and cartridge

South Park
Condition: 9.5/10. Comes with manual, insert, and cartridge (it even still has the plastic wrapping surrounding the cartridge)

Quake
Condition:7.5/10. Comes with manual and insert.

Pokemon Stadium (bigish box - came with a gameboy adaptor)
Condition: 8/10. Comes with manual and insert.

Crusin World
Condition: 8/10. Comes with manual and insert.

1080 Snowboarding
Condition: 9/10. Comes with insert and manual.

Zelda
Condition: 7/10. Comes with insert. Can't find the manual at the moment but I know I have it somewhere - however if its in a bookcase (somewhere). I also have the cartridge of zelda too.

If you wanted any of these i'd take photos just so you can see the condition for yourself as everyones judgement is different.

Thanks for looking. I'd appreciate it if you could throw up a couple of pictures of the above games. Definitely interested in Mario Kart and Diddy Kong Racing. I've currently put an offer in for Zelda on AV Forums, but that may fall through so if you can find the manual I'll turn to yours as a backup. What are your thoughts on prices for those two/three? I've included Lylat Wars there but it's not a priority without the insert; I don't know if you could flat pack it or something? No worries if not.

cart only
Alright, I think I'll hold out for a complete set. Thanks.

I'm afraid not. Already have Goldeneye, have just bought Banjo over on AV Forums, and will hold out a complete Diddy Kong. Cheers for the offer though.

Definitely interested in Diddy Kong Racing and probably Mario Kart as well. I have ended up buying Ocarina of Time from AV Forums and Lylat Wars may be more trouble than its worth without the insert, but by all means let me know prices for all four. If you can do a decent deal of the bundle I might just take the lot of your hands.

Sorry about the late reply (I keep doing this to you!). I'm afraid my bf wants to keep the games now (typical). I can still send the lylat wars box/manual if you're interested though £4.50 delivered?

No worries. I think I'll pass on the Lylat Wars box for now. Let me know if your boyfriend changes his mind :)
