Hi,

I'm looking for a pair of Homeplug Network adaptors to test out a project.

Not looking at spending too much as it could well only be temporary.

Not too fussy on speed either, so if you've got any lying around that you don't need anymore, or know of any deals going really cheap, please post up here.

Thanks all,

NV

Thanks for the reply but £35 plus p&p is a little over budget, if I had that sort of cash I'd have gone for the 200 Mbs posted up recently :)

Will the homeplugs supplied by BT Vision work with other equipment? I presume they will...

To be honest I don't know, I'm just trying to see if I can get a net feed to a temporary location. I don't have anything else connected so wouldn't have any compatability issues.

I'll be taking a feed from a current router then picking it up at another location which is fed from the same power supply....

A quick google search suggests they might, but not sure about this. Anyway, only mentioning in case someone with BT Vision has these sitting around unused. They come as standard with the equipment even if not needed... good luck

they will work fine, i wired my bt vision directly to the router and then used the homeplugs to connectg my 360 in a different room up.

All the best,

@ Dallas and nutta - If the OP isn't interested, I might be, but only if it's possible to use four plugs around the house. I'd need to confirm that after my new BT Vision setup arrives. But I'll set up my 'wanted' thread later if I do need them. Cheers.

Cool, do you want to PM me some details?

I'm out until later tonight but will check PMs when I get back..

Call it £20 delivered as that should more than cover postage?

Thanks
