Hi,

I have a Navman s50 3d in excellent condition. Comes with box and pretty sure it has everything as supplied new. I recently sent it to Navman for repair and they replaced the unit and updated it the new maps (or so the note with it said - I don't know how to check though) Nice unit and it's widescreen.

Would be looking for £55 delivered special delivery.

What month is the note dated? Thanks.

and is it GB & Ireland maps?

I only got the sat nav back last month, so its not that old - not that I can find the note that was sent with it.

Yeah its Uk and Ireland. I can try connecting it to the pc and seeing if the software tells me anything if you like ?
#6
No need to connect it, but turning it on and knowing it works would be good! And anything to show it's a refurb that will give it some warranty, or is there some outstanding warranty in your name? Thanks

Hi it is working fine I have turned it on and checked everything is ok. I sent it for repair on the 10.9.10. Took about 10 working days to get it returned.

It looks like I would be able to change the account details to your name as well. I registered it as being purchased on the 10.5.10 as I have my dabs receipt (which I can provide a copy of), should be warranted for at least a year from then, but think it is actually a 2 yr guarantee.

I have connected it to the pc but still can't tell the date of the maps.

Sounds good. Can I ask what the original problem was that needed a return?

Also, are you in need of anything by way of a trade? I can pick up a SatNav new for £49.99 in Argos, so debating whether it's better to get that in my name or take a chance with a (presumably) better model 2nd hand. A trade would certainly make my decision easier :)
#9
I was thinking about trades but can't think of anything that I need. Typically would have been interested in your 32gb stick - lol. If you had a 16gb i'd be interested.

The original problem was a firmware error that wasn't fixable by the user.

I may have been interested in your dell mini 9 but a good bit more than I would want to spend on a netbook as I already have one and this would be for the wife.

You looking for any other swaps.

I may hold out for one of the argos/ ebay outlet zoostorm with windows 7 for £129 that they seem to do every now and again but typically not when I decided I want one.

I have an infinity 557c laptop here, its working perfectly but its a bit beat up cosmetically and i'd say it needs more ram TBH. Runs win xp with a 1.5ghz processor and currently 256 ram. Only looking for £75 for this though. (would obviously put towards a trade though)

How much would you value your USB pens at ?
#12
BTW I think my post office has a cut off of 3.15 for last collection.
#13
def don't need another laptop - have a couple of older ones that I'll probably list for sale when the new XPS 15 arrives. The USB pens, I'd offer the 32GB + £25 or 16GB and £35.

Cheers for the offer but i'd like to do a little bit of research into which drive I get. I have seen some cracking deals on 16gb ones for less than £15 on here.

Up to yourself if you want to deal at £55 delivered (special delivery). But need to know in next 15 mins as I still need to package it up obviously.

Nps. I'll leave it.
#16
Ok dokey, Cheers anyhow
#17
If you were still interested I'd offer £80 plus the sat nav for the mini 9 ?

Happy to send the sat nav first and wait till you come back from your trip tlll you send the netbook ?
#18
No thanks. I value your SatNav at £50 max so that would mean giving the Dell away at £130. The 60GB SSD and 2GB RAM make it worth more than that..

I got one of the Tesco deals for a Binatone B430 for £39.99 but haven't even opened it and am going to take it back but if you want it just add p&p on which shouldn't be more than £5 should it?
#20
@ alictait. I've just sold the Dell and so have funds for this as an outright purchase. Will you be able to send today RMSD with guaranteed Saturday delivery (extra £2) for £50? (also see below for phone offer)

Need by tomorrow so it would be RMSD + Saturday guarantee. Would that be possible and can you post in advance due to lack of feedback?

EDIT - Also just remembered I have an unlocked LG Renoir (excellent 8MP camera phone) that isn't being used since I moved to an Adroid phone, if you are interseted...

Hi again,

Are you offering £52 for RMSD ?

If so go for it and I'll get it posted today. Sorry no interest in the phone as I bought a T mobile pulse at the same time as yourself :)
#23
was offering £50 actually, as we can still pick up an Argos model for £49.99?
#24
Go on then, wont haggle over £2, as long as it isn't too dear too send it :)

Ok, shall I send you address and once you confirm it's gone for Saturday RMSD delivery, I'll pay. If you think it's too expensive at the post office, you can drop out. I can still buy one tomorrow in the shops so not too worried. PPG ok?
#26
Sure thing
#27
PM'ed!
#28
Posted just now guaranteed saturday delivery.
#29
Cheers - please PM the tracking number and I'll get payment off to you now. Knowing my luck, RM will fail to deliver before I need it. But here's hoping!
#30
payment sent by PPG. Thanks :)
#31
done & done cheers,

Let me know when you getit please

SatNav received and all seems well. Thanks. Will turn it on and test later today.

Noticed there is no SD card. Presumably it didn't come with one originally, and there is enough internal memory not to need one. Is that right?

Yeah never came with one, just used for additional storage I believe. Glad that it came on time and hope you are happy.
