I'm looking for something, in white around about the follwing spec (stolen from an AV Forums Listing)
2.0 Intel Core 2 Duo
160GB Hard Drive
1GB RAM
Super Drive
Built in i-Sight Camera
Built in microphone and speaker
Airport Extreme (wi-fi)
Bluetooth
USB 2.0
Firewire
Intergrated G Force Graphics

Model Name: MacBook
Model Identifier: MacBook2,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 1 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz

Comes Pre-Loaded with OSX Tiger, iLife 08 and Microsoft Office 2008

I'm looking to spend around £450 max, as it's for the missus. I might be interested in two if there are two very good offers. This would mean me selling my beloved XPS M1330, or may trade for a macbook. Any advice or guidance on this is appreciated, so please post if you have some tips for me, as I have never ventured to the other side.

nice monitor how much do you value it at?
#17
bazz, I'll also consider your monitor if you don't use it as a trade - I can hook regular speakers up to it, right?

I value it at around the same as I bought it at. It's still mint right down to the sticky plastic packaging still on the screen. I wouldn't sell it for silly money :-D

Ok, well let me know you price delivered and I'll consider it. Sick of running xbox thru pc to get sound from my current monitor
#21
I'm thinking around £180 delivered, as they are new at £220 and this is pretty much new

ok, any needs or wants that would allow a partial trade? (nothing dirty please)
#23
only a macbook unfortunately... I'm trying to downscale my stuff. Tell you what, I will throw in a PS3 and a Camera for another £300 :-D
#24
not even a special massage? I'm willing to get dirty if necessary.
#25
my shower is broken, so can't be getting dirty!!
#26
fair enough - wouldn't want you getting in trouble with the wife bazz.

I am thinking about this though. Probably should try and shift my Samsung 22" monitor first though. let me look at current prices and gauge interest and get back to you. I'm needing to downsize a bit myself too, what with a desktop, a laptop, and 2 monitors going spare. Oh the joys of being a shopaholic
#27
p.s. you don't have a spare bluetooth mouse per chance?
#28
nope, the missus got a cat so we have no mice left in the house! Let me know when you know, so I can add your money to the mac fund!

I just bought one from mini0ne for around £500 and that had three years applecare remaining. Does yours have extended applecare? What value do you place on the macbook?

I've got several items for part trade if you are interested
#35
no it doesnt have the extended care, it was bought as a company machine but the girl was laid off after a month so its been sat in my drawer ever since.
#36
so how much are you looking for?
#37
what would you offer on your ps3?
#38
seller has to state a price :p

But yeah, the PS3 is a possible part trade. Is the macbook in mint condition?
banned#39
i know this isnt thread related, but cant wait for the macbook to arrive bazzaric :D.
When you getting yours?
#40
£300 and PS3
