im really after a nikon d40 with kit lens but would consider others, budget is a bit flexible depending upon the bundle or camera offered, dont wanna be spending much more at all if possible, would prefer under 5,000 actuations so lemme know what youve got

I've got a nikon d5000, haven't been using it much as I'm not into it. Comes with 18-55mm kit lens,. Had it for about 1 and half years. Comes with Hoya filter 52mm filter, original nikon bag, manuals, cd, etc. I would throw in a hama tripod as well =) £380

Icic, I'm In london/Birmingham. D40 is really old tho, sometimes u should take dslr's age into account. Cos when it goes old, things like mould, shutter count etc etc sometimes can give u headache =) good luck =)

aye i know i should, the d5000 is meant to be an awesome camera aswell as being only brought out last year,i mean would £350 be a no go for you? as i would really be breaking the bank

Hi there, £380 will be a firm price considering the extras, I rarely use this camera, normally use my gf's compact camera. lol. This d5000 should really go into good hands and to be used as much as it should be.
Have you try out d5000? go try it out, you'll like it. =) HD720p. tilting screen (not much use unless taking video) etc etc. I'm sure you'll find it out.

I've got the Sony Alpha 380, it has live view, it is 14mp, takes SD card, battery lasts for ages, comes with 18-55 kit lens, looking at £275 collected for it

cheers for the offer rudz there decent cameras but i wanna steer clear from sony ideally, i work in a sony centre and can get trade price on the things but i think i wanna stick to either cannon or nikon, prefer the nikons in my hand though.. ill go give it a fiddle in jessops tomoro, i certainly wouldnt need the tripod for now btw, ive certainly read up on the nikons anyway , while it might not be in expert hands it would certainly be getting used, id be able to go straight ahead with £350 if it remotely tickles you

I'll keep the tripod, meet me halfway of our offer? £365? Cheers
#13
cheers rudz, thats pretty great offer! with 12month guarantee aswell, but even then i still prefer the nikons to go hold, im gna go check out the d5000 after work today, i really dont think i can go past 350 though, well out of my budget allready lol, wondering if i have anything to trade.. worth noting id definately need full contact details if we progressed and would proabably be looking at doing a deposit up front and the rest on reciept, or even reciept on tracking number considering your 1 feedback

think your out of my price range buddy, £350 really is the cut off i wouldnt be arguing with veyron for their camera for the sake of £15 if i actually had any more...
#21
no worries mate, was considering closing and listing separately come midweek so could potentially split if you was interested? i.e. Canon 450D and nifty fifty for £345 delivered..... Both of these are pretty much as new , genuine boxes, all leads etc etc

Edited By: TINCAN on Nov 21, 2010 21:53

would hate only having the nifty fifty tbh mate, want a bit more freedom than a set focal range atm... take it you dont have the kit lens?

Just checked using Opanda Exif viewer and count is reading 13k.
#26
hmm shutter is a little high, would you be interested at £200? what exactly is for sale, and the condition is there any mould?
#27
Hi mate

No kit lens no however I have decided to split mine now so could do the Canon 450D body for £290 delivered if that of interest then you could always buy a lens too suit?

Not sure of total actuations but would be surprised if it was higher than 1000/1500 ish maybe less

No mould at all m8. The odd dust as usual(nothing to be worried though). There is one which is noticeable in the images if its white background. I've used rocket blower but it doesn't want to move.

lol cause so much trouble bringing in new cameras to think about... what would be the price on the 450 with 18-55mm IS?

i was debating getting a canon 40d body only because i prefer the size and could get a lens for crimbo to start me out
