Hi all,

I'm after a wireless ADSL router please!

Not really fussed about make or model(depending what is offered).

All I need from it is 802.11g (not bothered about n or ndraft), and a 4 port switch built in.

Cheap as possible please!

Price PP? I like Linksys kit.

Guys had a look at speedtouch/thomson and would like to stay away from them for now (sorry realise I said other in original post) - may come back to them though if needs be!

£18.00

What kinda condition/age mate? Boxed with PSU?
#10
Box is around somewhere, condition is fine only unused due to moving to cable. Got everything bar the instruction sheet as the cat shat on it so I threw it out (obviously). Got it from PC World at a guess 18 months ago.
#11
OK how about £15 delivered and I send you the money via PP today?
#12
Maybe OTT for what you want but I have a Linksys WAG325N boxed in good condition. Even if you don't need N now it still gives a range boost with G. Would be looking for £50 delivered.

Review here.

Way more than I want to spend rbz - dont need N, g gives full range within my house which is all I need :)

The only high end device I would consider(being a Cisco network engineer!!) is a Cisco wireless device with IOS.

got a netgear wireless router dg384gt 108mbs boxed as new £25
#15
Hi mini. Probably again somewhat more than I want to spend - the 108mb is overkill for what I need.

If you could lower it to the £18-19 mark I may become interested.

Cheers for the offer though :)

Got a KCorp KLS-6615 54G router doing nothing.

Rock solid router before I went N for extra range

£16 delivered

EliTom

Forget this - its not ADSL - just read the OP more closely

This is for Cable connection

Sorry

That's fine, I wasn't looking to sell so not bothered either way. Just saw this thread and thought i'd offer.

Good luck

Thanks zeus :) I realise you cant test the DSL, but does the ethernet switch test working? If so - I'll take it :)
#24
well i powered it up and all the lights came on....upon leaving it powered up for a few min all the lights went out and now everytime i power it up the lights will only come on for a few seconds and then go off so i'm going to say it's faulty. Sorry i should have tested it before i listed it. GL in your search tho.
#25
Only the power light should stay on if there are no live clients connected - is the power light staying on? If so it might be alright :)
#26
No lights are staying on.....When 1st plugged in the Power lights and the 3 lan lights come on...after a few seconds all the lights goes out....like it's not getting power
#27
:( never mind - thanks anyway Zeus!
