I am a big fan of pc strategy games and this has been hailed as one of the best
I have seen this game for £12.99 from gameplay but i wanted to see if i could get it cheaper here

Pictures of bottom side of the disc will be needed as i would like to check the state of the disc (e.g. amount of scratches)

Its better than company of heroes imo, alot more cinematic, especially when you get it online. Gamestation keep doing offers on it, originally I got it for £5 because we had a new gamestation store opening, but I think its around the £12 mark now, either at game or cex

Camera is on WASD, felt very natural for me. Excellent game, one of the best for 2007. Company of Heroes is also excellent, but not the same. I stopped playing a while back as I was frustrated in trying to get my clan to get competative and not having a lot of luck with finding UK tournaments to get into (just missed PC Gamer's one registration by a couple of weeks recently).
A thing to watch out for are unbalanced servers as people seem to want to join the side where all the brass are and/or keep a team uneven in players. For example 3 one side 4 on the other, 3 people waiting to play - when one stops waiting and joins the short team (your only choice at that point) the other two scramble to join the 'long' side to continue the unbalance. It doesn't help that it's usually the newbs on the short team, and they mostly plonk for Artillery Support. I love that role, but newbs don't play it well and you don't really need more than 1 player doing that, and those new players always buy artillery and rarely AA (and then if they do leave it parked next to their arty instead of supporting armor units) or repair units.
Don't mind me, I'm just a bit bitter. It's a great game. Find yourself a good server and/or clan or team of regulars and you'll have a fantastic time. You're gonna pay about £15 for this new even now. An expansion (Soviet Assault) was due out soon until Activision decided they only really like console titles and pulled publishing this week so until Massive finds a new publisher it's hard to judge when this will be out. This prospect of an expansion keeps copies from circulating into the resale market as people wait for the expansion to play that too (I know I am). Here's a link for the developer's dedicated forum, lots of good stuff here if you're going to start playing: http://www.massgate.net/forum.php
Have fun!
