I've just sold my Xbox and have a power supply for sale.

How do I know what supply it is?

they are all forwards compatible but not backwards compatible..

a 203w one will work for all (fat) consoles
a 175w one will work for that and the 150w
a 150w one will only work for the 150w console..

hope this helps

Look on the back of the power supply and it will give you a model number it need to be

Model - PE-2171-02mx
rev - A
Input ac - 200-240v-2.7A 47-63Hz
out put DC - 175W

Needs to be a 175W power supply

will a 203w not blow the xbox?
#14
seriously, a 203 is fine, fact is as it is less "under load", it will be more efficient and therefore use less electricity too!

As far as i'm aware, it is fairly similar to a PC psu.

You could give it 600w to play with and it would only use what it needs, up to 600w.

Yeah no problems with it. I was only using it last week until I sold the Xbox on it's own yesterday to someone else on here.

Meet in the middle at £13.50 and we have a deal.
