WTD: Yale Wireless Alarm

Hi,

I know that the Yale wireless house alarms have come up in the past, perhaps somebody bought one but hasn't yet fitted it? My wired alarm system needs fixing so I either spend my time doing that or my money getting one of these, I haven't yet decided.

Does anybody have one for sale please? I would prefer the higher model with a control panel.

Thanks

I have a Visonic Powermax Plus alarm, comes with the control panel, 3 PIR's and 2 remote key fobs:

Open to offers :-)

Looks interesting, I assume I could use a wired zone for a door contact? Since it doesn't come with a siren box, I presume this is a wired connection? Does it come with the backup battery (in good condition?). Anything else you think is interesting that I should be aware about?

What offer price are you thinking about?

THanks

Not sure about wired door contacts although I know wireless ones are available:

You can also purchase a wireless external siren box and obviously add more PIR's (or anything else you wanted) as you go along :-)

Yep backup battery is in good condition :-)

Was looking for £120 delivered

Am at work at the mo and the alarm is at home, could post out using Special Delivery on Monday if that's any good?

Thanks - I am interested but not sure yet. I will keep my mind open and let you know over the weekend if that's ok? I might manage to fix my old one and live with that, even if your one has better features.

Thanks again

Hi,

I have a Micromark MM40061 wireless alarm that was originally from Argos but being lazy I never got around to fitting it! Was about £100 IIRC.

It has:-
1 x Dual Power Control Panel/Siren (solar panel/battery)
3 x wireless PIR sensors
1 x wirefree door/window sensors

Also has a remote keyfob and comes with all batterys.

Is brand new and boxed, would do for £40 delivered. The box says additional parts can be purchased from micromark to fit larger properties, but put the wirefree sensors in halls etc and will be well away.

Let me know what you think!

Ta,

Villan

Hi,

Had a good think about it and read up on it and am happy to offer £110 delivered, if you can send it special delivery on Monday. This assumes it is fully working and all in good condition. I will be happy to pay via bank transfer. Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Hi Villan, thanks for the offer, however, I prefer the idea of the system above as it includes telephone alert.

Yes that's fine.
#14
Could you also confirm that either you know the engineers code or that nobody changed it from the default. Thanks.

I have tested the alarm and all works beautifully! The only thing is that the PIR's will require some new batteries as they have been in a while. One was dead so I have taken that out but have tested the PIR and it works fine. The other 2 have batteries but they are low on power.

I have reset the unit to factory settings and the codes are now the default ones :-)

I am happy to deal at £110 (to allow you some money left over to get new batteries!) so if you agree then can take to PM?

Cheers :D
