X6800 cpu, Core 2 Extreme 2.93 GHz, £155.00

I'm selling my X6800 cpu, which has unlocked multipliers from 6 to 31,
I have no idea why they set the top end at 31 because on the air cooling I have I can't go over 14.0
Unlike most people I am happy to state that I've overclocked this cpu carefully,, however it didnt meet my expectations as it can only do 3.8 Ghz on air (Orthos stable 12Hrs).

I usually run it at 3.4 GHz at stock voltage as I don't like to turn my fans up at all.

The cpu will post at 4.2GHz on air with 1.50v Core, however I am unwilling to push the voltage any higher than this. A little googling with tell you how these are nearly 5.0GHz capable cpus.

My Ebay userid is: teh_leet, my feedback rating is 98, however I am currently suspended on ebay because of a paypal dispute.. (and my vocal criticism of ebay/paypal policies).
(This matter is currently being dealt with on my behalf by the Financial Ombudsman)

Despite this I am able to accept paypal on my wife's account..
Bank Transfer/Cash are welcome. I am based in Beds and could deliver or meet 1/2 way, upto 20 miles ish.

I am offering ONLY the cpu with no fan/thermal paste. (price includes delivery)

Why are you selling it so cheap?
I saw what they were going for on ebay, and priced it accordingly
also please don't confuse this cpu with the QX6800
£713 on eBuyer... well over $1000 on any US site...

Smells a little fishy mate...
Cheapest on eBay is $524 but it's from Turkey... that's still well over £250
why does it cost more than a QX6850

how many of these sites/sellers do you think are selling their processors ?
The prices you are quoting are official OLD prices....

I was going to go into a rant about your lack of knowledge, but I realise you're not really interested, you're just out to sitr.. never mind, go annoy someone else.
Hmm, this is rather odd, hehe.

The processor seems to date back into 2006 since there are quite a few reviews (Hexus namely one of them) and that is dated in July 06. Also, some of the customer reviews on eBuyer are dated to 06 as well. However, if you think of it from a buyers point of view, it does seem strange that you're selling a CPU for £155 when it is being priced at £700+ at a reputable e-shop such as eBuyer.

I guess the best way would be to simply post a picture up with your name next to it :)

I just wanted to break up the tenseness between everyone - Wish you luck with the sale !
Thank you eNyx !
This price is quite reasonable. This is the old generation Extreme processors, which were once £600 but now because of the E8 and Q9 range, they have come down in price a lot.
