Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that either party is genuine by providing the following via PM to each other, as well as to Admin or Moderator:

1]Landline telephone number Make a CALL to check out the area code and number are correct too!
2]Name and address including postcode
3]Valid e-mail address [no disposable addressessuch as @gmail or @yahoo for example].
4] Using PayPal then check out eBay feedback if there is any and make a small payment to and from each other to validate the PayPal e-mail address.
5] If possible, collect and pay for items in person
6] Only buy from Verified PayPal Members.

Do NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.

This message is being inserted in all For Sale or Trade forum threads.

NOTE: Call landline number and Verification of PayPal Members detail above now added!

With a feedback of 34 this transaction will not have Paypals £500 buyer protection if you traded via ebay. You would have ebays SPP and the maximum you could receive if the item did not turn up or was faulty is £105.

I need to find the receipt which I will happily provide to buyer, but to confirm this has only had power plugged on to eject dvd drive not opened any other accessories. This is as new. Perfectly entitled to collect and will demo it working. I am in Midlands.

this is sold to me until monday when he checks postal prices yea??

If it's under 2kg, £10.00 will easily cover that for Special Delivery with a £500 compensation as standard:-

Royal Mail price checker:-

jase159, have you followed Emma's guidelines in post #2?
#12
I recommend buyer and seller give each other a call on landline numbers before transactions go through...
#13
And just a point to note, I have not received any of the sellers details.

EDIT - just received these.

Note to buyer: Please take the advice of my post above.

Can only give prices what post office quoted me parcel post was £9.88 with £2 insurance otherwise 1st class recorded £25.82 special delivery £19.00. Have already said to saxo_appeal and jase159 that I will goto to post office again and get rechecked(i didn't take it myself prev) and would only charge cost and would include post office receipt. Also don't think this would count as parcel on website by dambuster weight is 1kg think it dimensions that bump up price.

Just to confirm that saxo_appeal has 1st offer on this, have let jase159 know also. Saxo will call on landline.

I sent a large box last week using special delivery, it was just under 2kg and cost me just under £9.00.
I can scan the receipt if you want.
You must NOT use First or Second class post because you are only covered for £32.00 maximum if the item gets lost or stolen.
Standard Parcels takes up to 5 days and you cannot track it.
Special delivery or A courier with added insurance.
banned#20
no offence to anyone, but i do think this is slightly unfair as i did show intrest before anyone else. :(
#21
BTW Jason, PiP does NOT affect Special Delivery or Standard Parcels.

Saxo, use yorkie in the discount box with P4D and you will get a 5% discount.
#22
thanks dambuster,

jase159: I offered my body aswell as payment lol

jase159 I guess it has to be first to PM in this case as your question was only asking if he/she has eBay.
#24
Ok this should be made aware that as only having space in my inbox for 30 messages (in total inbox and outbox) that leaves 15 out and 15 in,
This is not enough to sort things out and get advice from people, this needs to be enlarged, as soon as ive got to 30 some people might be contacting me that isnt getting through or my messages arent getting out.
This is just to be made aware of as we have all been going on about getting as much info from people before selling etc.

I personaly think the mail box should be made bigger, this would help with the guidelines Mods have been settling into place on the FS and FT threads.

EDIT: just noticed that its up to 50 now, still just 25 in 25 out tho :-(

Sorry, but I also agree with rayman on this occasion.
#26
Saxo, your PM box should hold 50 in total but I totally agree. It needs to hold at least 100 but Admin will NOT change it.

You can download your PM's to your desktop in three different formats, Text, CSV or XML and if you do this every couple of days, it's a lot easier to see them all in one file [I think].
#29
Download all Private Messages as :
XML | CSV | Text

At the bottom of your PM page.

i suppose thats an idea,

Is it really hard setting up 100 messages??

imagine the amout of space that 100 would take up seems theres thousands of members, i would agree with needing more messages and i think people over so many posts should get more message (to be honest i dont really use them ! :p )

Upload pic to www.imageshack.us - that's the easiest way, then add the link here.

3 photos taken, poor quality only got mobile to take picture with, games shown on the photo are not included in sale but are available seperately at agreed price.

Hope this link works
