Xtreme Xbox 360 Core Pack - NEW!

Core pack, only opened to flash, no accessories have been opened. Was free with a mobile phone contract and will come with receipt dated 12/03/2007. The receipt is priced at £0.00 - but will still provide a warranty + there is the microsoft 12 month warranty.

Comes with all the standard core pack stuff.

I WILL NOT SELL PIRATE GAMES! I already have an xbox and got this one cheap off a friend who got it free with the sole intention of selling for a small profit and thought that getting it flashed may add extra to the price.

I do however have some genuine games for sale, aswell as accessories (wireless pads, media remote, and extra TV/VGA cables).

Looking for £220 delivered (Royal Mail Special Delivery), or £200 collected (LE14 area).

Will post pics tonight when I get home. I have sold on here before, and have 380 positive feedback on ebay.

only opened to flash

Would that invalidate the warranty?

Just a little info, but I don't think you will get that sort of price.

I would try around the £150 mark as it only costs pennys to flash, so iv'e heard.

Cheers, Im well aware of the cost though. And if you can find someone to flash a console for pennies for you - good luck and I would make sure they do it in front of you cos I wouldnt rely on getting it back lol.

I meant buying the stuff to be able to do it.

I know people will make a lot of money out of doing it. I have heard people charge around £20 - £40 to do.

Hope i'm not intruding, just posting some facts about flashing an xbox.

It doesn't cost pennies to do for starters. The equipment to flash it (a pc sata card) can cost around £30-£40, mainly as you will most likely have to import one if its a Samsung Xbox 360 drive.

Some pcs already have the necessary equipment built into the motherboard, but it's quite rare.

Also note that some xboxs are currently unhackable as they are a new version, if you get one of these then at the moment theres nothing you can do. (These are the new Benq and Hitachi 79b drives)

£200 for a core seems quite reasonable, and note some xboxs without a warrenty sticker on have been fixed by Microsoft; just ensure you get the xbox 'unflashed' before you ship it back, if it breaks.

P.S Flashing means installing a new 'firmware' on the dvd drive, basically it deceives the xbox 360 into thinking it's booting up a legitimate game.

Just my two cents :)

Thanks. Also with regards to where you can get cheap games I am unable to help with that, I have a friend that flashes 360's and he said he would do it for me cheap so I had it done hoping it would add more value to the console.

Thats a very good price for a sata card, presume it was in this country? When I bought mine I had to pay about £25 quid for shipping :(.

It is possible to keep the sticker (use a hairdryer to pull it off and it remains intact), but its a pain the a$$.
#12
true with the hairdrier trick but could u really be bothered, you can usually tell by looking at it anyway...

used to hate that from when ps2 came out, made a mess of mine but still managed to return it for replacement without a sticker, cheers sony!!!
#13
it's possible to open the case and remove the shell without damaging the sticker.
it's tricky, but works.

Think you's are missing my point, the reason I said pennies, is because the person flashing the box normally pays for all his expense from the first flash. so is making a 100% profit from there in.

So if you are doing the box yourself or have a kind mate they will do it for pennies/or nowt.

No mate your missing the point, the average person will not have the necessary stuff to flash it so will have to buy it - NOT PENNIES, or pay someone to flash it - NOT PENNIES!

The sticker IS intact, and will post pics later as I stated in the first post.

So you are telling me a person will buy all the stuff to flash 1 box?

Anyway sorry for being a pest, will let you get on with your sale, good luck with it.

Have to say my whole 360 experience is amazing but would have to recommend buying a 42" + LCD tv to play it on.

God I love my 360!!!
