Well why would he send it first without payment when somebody else has offered beforehand?

Nobody offered beforehand. Mine was the 1st offer!!!
Normally zero feedback sellers wont get payment upfront due to high risk involved, but if the buyer feels safe doing that, good for him. I just hope he got all details & all goes well.
No offence OP!

But come on your wording was a big put off after you send first and checked out, it's only £27 and the op has said what the faults are

No he didn't, he said the sim tray was slightly faulty, but working. What does that mean??
& what has the price got to do with anything?? Why would i not need to check it out before sending payment? The guy has no feedback, the phone is half the price it sells for on ebay & the fault isn't fully described!

You made a propositional offer, any normal person will accept a guaranteed payment over a conditional one.

It's a sellers prerogative to choose who he wishes to deal with. If I was the seller I know who I would have chosen to deal with. Your attitude since submitting your offer has probably made the seller glad he overlooked your offer.

Anyway, I have this phone. For £27 I'd of bought another for my mother.

Not arguing that fact m8, obviously anyone would do the same!
Also, i'm not slating the seller, as has been stated its up to them who they sell to, its just they could've at least replied to me!
Its all the other do gooders who have piped up who have rattled my cage. I just said to OP that they could've at least replied out of courtesy & 3 people who have got sod all to do with this post, felt the need to butt in & give there opinions!!
Good on you for getting the phone at a bargain price, i just hope you do actually get it!

Yeah and what about my offer? my name has an A in it, so irrespective of any other requests surely I should have got first refusal.
