Good deal, as those extra air miles will give me enough to treat the girlfriend to a long weekend in Paris - but I'm not paying for the shopping bill!!! ;-)

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Done it, thanks. :)

Got to ask though, for those more experienced than me...

How do I register tickets Ive paid for onto Flying Blue, when they are not in my name. Flew with my wife and daughter earlier this month. Registered my flight easily enough but it wont let me register their tickets. Any Ideas? Ta.

You and only register the tickets that were in your own name. Air miles don't work on how much you pay the airline but how much (and what class) you travel personally with the airline, so unfortuantely only your wife and daughter can claim the miles.

Great find!

Now if only I had the membership card to hand... One of those things I guess: always got spam emails (with the membership number) hanging around on the email, except for now, which is the first time it would have been handy..

I'll be back!

:-)

Hey all:

Turns out 1,000 points is not that much at all (seeing as you need 20,000 for a return Edinburgh- Amsterdam). And whilst tracking this bit of info down, I also found that they are changes their rules and normal members (Ivory) will loose miles collected if you don't fly once every 20 months.

i know I know, that's over a year and a half, but still; I may not go that often?
