"Unfortunately, there's no indication on when or if the promotion will launch over here, with SCE's UK sales director Mark Howsen only confirming that it will be rolling out in the UK "next month.""

Oh the legendary "coming soon" line from a console/gaming company..... It sounds like a good deal. When and if it arrives.
#4
By here, he was meaning the USA.

Saying it's out next month sounds plausible to me.

I'm sure Sony's UK sales director is credible.

Wow. That sounds cool. I feel like getting one now

The PSPgo is a waste of money. Its not worth buying one just to get the free games.
The rumored PSP2 with touch sensitive screen is expected to be announced very soon.

The fact they're giving away 10 games just to get you interested in the device is a testament to how much they ballsed up this handheld.
Give me a standard PSP with a custom firmware any day

I have just noticed you posted the information in the "Freebies" forum, funkymonkeyboy.

I also started a thread, but in the "Misc" forum:

FYI: Ten free games offer for PSP Go console

:)

When does the offer run out?

I'm waiting for the announcement of a PSP2 at E3.

The offer is for the PSP Go device only. The availability of the next iteration in the PlayStation Portable handheld console will not be within the redemption period of the offer.

If the console you have purchased meets the criteria as described in the Legal Promotional text then you will receive the redeemable voucher code.

Please see comment #2 in my "Misc" thread:

Ten free games offer for PSP Go console

My code took less than 24 hours to arrive (initiated on a pre-owned console purchased before 1 April 2010).

yeah my code took less than 24 hours too - ended up getting a new one.

it then took me another 24 hours to download the games, as i left them to download and a few times it lost connection so would probably took a little less. i like the console though, will no doubt be used more than my old psp did.
