Found these 3 sites that offer 100's of FREE games for the PC (which you can download onto your pc for later use), seems perfect for the kids to mess about over xmas

http://www.gametop.com/
http://www.freegamepick.com/
http://www.funpcgame.com/

I've downloaded 1 of the games so-far and it's virus free (checked with KIS2011) so all seems quite kosher with the sites!

Some of the games are chargeable but that's only a small number. The bulk of them are FREE.

Enjoy the free games!

which one are you using as I've tried the top 2 sites on both a NIS2011 system & a KIS2011 and neither are being flagged up.

also my online monitoring s/ware has given them the green tick indicating the all clear

Proof sites are all ok:

I did check the sites before posting as I did mention above also to confirm no malware/spyware/viruses in the file i downloaded from the site

But all files should always be checked by a reputable a/virus s/ware

Was browsing, noticed http://www.funpcgame.com/ had Modern Warefare 2 and Grand Theft Auto 4 but then see the message
We're sorry. Our Systems indicate you are outside the territory authorized for distribution by the software publisher of this title.

Unfortunately, we do not have permissions from the publisher to sell this title outside of our approved territory.

Seems they are mixing free games with some pay versions to keep afloat

No problem. Some of the games aren't too bad, not full retail versions

But when I was younger eons ago these would have been retail games (Kung Fu master, ik+, thing on a spring, monty mole, beach head, those were the days!)

Operateonme (yes pls :D) like I said in the op post some of the games are chargeable but as long as the kids click on the free sections they should be fine :)
