Got an email saying they are giving it away and just redeem the code, the email states it's for Red Dead Redemption DLC but you can use it against anything!

Pretty sure this is for people who've already played RDR all my friends have had the code who have played this.

sorry to sound stupid how does this work?
Added a second image, I think it's sent to people who've played Red Dead in the past? A few people I know have had this email too.
So it's a freebie, but a freebie not everyone can get?

Yeah, like most of the deals on this site these days, one off deals in stores or 1 left in stock online, not a lot different.

Except there is no way to apply for this, you have no control over whether you`ll get the points or not, and it`s not even a draw where you know you`ve been entered into.

Essentially, you`re saying if you`ve played RDR you might get some points. But, you might not.

I`m not voting either way, but it seems pointless to me. (no pun intended)
I checked my email and it was there :)
Worth a try
Worth a try

what is it your trying?
there's no where to enter this code, nowhere to apply - it's really just saying you might get some points, wait and see?
thats a shame, i aint played it, kinda annoyed cos if everyone got it then i could get hydrophobia wthout haveing to pay 4.25 to get more points, i have 280 msp
Freezing in here, i better get a coat on.
