There's not as much choice as on Kindle but there's still a pretty decent selection, as well as some really good lists to help you decide what to read.

You can buy more pages once you've used up your free ones, but there's absolutely no commitment so you can just delete the app once you've read your freebies if you want to...

This is my first post, so hope people find it useful!

Wait! So they sell books by the page? That sounds expensive.

It's actually pretty cheap - certainly a lot cheaper than Kindle... 1000 pages costs £6.99. My most recent Ebook on Kindle cost £11.99, on Blloon it is 526 pages - which would work out as around £3.60 ish I think!

Looking at ther pland £3.99 for 500 pages month and £6.99 for 1000 pages/month is it not cheaper if you read a lot and watch movies and want next day delivery on Prime sales to go for amazon prime for £79/year with films and kindle books included ?
You can borrow one book from the Kindle Owners' Lending Library each calendar month. You can deliver the book to other Fire or Kindle devices registered to your Amazon account.

I'm possibly being dim, but does that statement not contradict what you said in the OP?

Ah, sorry - I meant there's not as much choice compared to BUYING books from Kindle. The other poster was referring to Amazon Prime which lets you download one book a month for free if you are a Kindle prime member - however the selection of Prime books available is much smaller and lots of the books are self published books you probably won't actually want to read!
