25 GB Free online storage with Box

  It's usually pretty easy to get 50gb. If you have two email addresses on the same domain (as long as it's not a major webmail provider like gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc.) you can sign up for an account and then email yourself a 50gb referral to your other account. Box is actually decent now that they have the sync option. I can't think of any other options that provide sync and this much space.
  
  I'm using them to back up my whole photo library, as I couldn't find any other free services that would automate the process and have enough space.

  take note that the autosync feature constantly consumes 15-20% of cpu! For this reason, I only load BOX once a month for a few minutes so it syncs my folders. then shut it down again!

  Tried the Box.net 10Gb promo which was released in this blog about a month ago and was really disappointed! You upload a file to your account and they say “You need to upgrade to premium before you see links”…meaning that you can’t place a link to your file(s) for people to download. I dnt recommend this service for anyone.

  I got 50GB from using there IOS app, not sure if it still works.
  I used my mates iPhone to get the extra storage.

  take note on my pc it consumed 20% of CPU constantly (expensive electric bill lol) so just run it occasionally.
  
  EDIT: new version now available and they seem to have fixed this problem :)
  
  so will keep it running all the time alongside dropbox. Cant have too many online backups ;)

  This was about a month ago, and they have been doing this for about a year. If you signed up with a webmail address try changing it to a private domain or work email address.
