Same here, with a XX1 2XX format postcode.

Tried two with XX12 3XX format - a friend's and my work postcode, and they both work fine. So got it sent to work.

I received my simcard, tried to register it; my address was found from the postcode, but when proceeding to the next screen, it says it needs a valid postcode!:x

Hi,

For all those having problems with the above link.

Try this :-

http://www.affordablemobiles.co.uk/sims/prepay-sim-cards/

If you put in a postcode is dos not recognise you can put your address in.

Hope that helps.

I got a 3 ZTE F102 phone for £19.99 in Superdrug. I think they sell the same one in Savers aswell.

Edit: Someone else also said about looking for a cheap 3G phone.

I used mine for this, and with the sign-up bonus, ended up with £15 free international call credit, at 1p per minute to the States (also 1p connection fee per call), but essentially almost 25 hours FREE calls to the US, from any phone.

Part of 3's T&C's is that you use a 3g phone as 3 uses orange in a non 3g area, this costs 3 money and as such they don't want you doing it.
