Thanks, this is better than the usual 2 or 3 week trials.

This is using MyMovieStream and a wilkinsons gift subscription. It does not seem to matter if you have previously been a customer, I have signed up and upgraded to the 3 discs at once package for £4.99...

Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for this mightymouse..my last trial was with mymoviestream and I wasn't that impressed with their range of DVds. They also failed to honour the £5 quidco cashback for taking out the trial.

Thanks for this geordiemouse.
Just to let folks know, this is only 1 disc at a time. You can upgrade your package. To get 3 discs at a time it costs £7.49 for the first month (1/2 price).(Vurt, how did you get this package for £4.99)
I signed up via quidco, going to mymoviestream and entering the code WILKINSONGIFT in the box for voucher code.Hopefully i will get the sign up payment.
Edit:Sorry vurt I stand corrected, after you enter your address details,it gives you better options and you can get 3 discs at a time for £4.99,or 2 discs for £2.99.So anybody wanting to change your package, hang fire till you have entered your address details.

just to expand bazr, on the quidco cashback failure...it failed to track and quidco do not accept any enquiries for mymoviestream...so I took the matter up with MMS and they kept saying they would investigate...of course they never did ..the trial concluded so I threw in the towel.

Hope the cashback works for you.

just checked and it's tracked....yeah.:-D
Just to repeat what vurt said.It doesn't seem to matter if you have been a member before.I have.:) So fingers crossed all will be well.

Thanks for this mightymouse_toon and Thanks for the extra information all :)

I took the same deal as you currychops, mine did track and they've since offered the half price deal to use them again. Do you clear all your browser cookies before going through QuidCo? I use a seperate browser for finding deals or clicking through links, then when I want something through QuidCo, I use the other browser with all cookies cleared.

MyMovieStream were as you say, but for free or £4.99 are worth a go ;-)

I know I should clear my cookies rayman but always seem to forget...and I should have a browser that I only use for quidco..if only I could apply discipline .

yes I was offered the half price deal....and refused but on second thoughts have decided to take up this free trial offer...although I see the DVD choice is still not as extensive as elsewhere...they don't even have The Proposition...the Ray Winstone OZ film that had a good critcal review a few months ago.

Lets hope my cashback tracks this time...I've joined on my son's PC so maybe better luck this time?
#9
hooray it has tracked this time...so come on everybody get your £5 quidco cashback with this trial.

You can also sign up to be a mystery shopper on this site. It'd be great to get paid for shopping!

Signed up via quidco and £5 was tracked on my account 5 minutes later!

Hi Guys

Anyone else having account problems with mymoviestream?

I chose the 2 DVD's unlimited package for 2.95 (or there abouts). I've recieved 1 lot of 2 DVD's, posted them back, recieved the next 2 and now when I go to sign in it takes me to the registration page with WILKINSONGIFT as the promo code and is forcing me to sign up again. Only this time the 2 DVD package is 6.95 (or there abouts  ).

I emailed customer service but no response.

Cheers

Ben

Cheers for the reply and the welcome bazr

Yeah you would think so wouldn't you. Man I've cleared out my history, cache, off-line files and my autocomplete history/list. But still everytime I go to log in it takes me to the registration page. It has to be my actual account I'm pretty sure.

I'll try and find a customer service phone number tomorrow if I haven't heard back from them.

Cheers very much bazr

Since this obviously isn't something that is happening to everyone I'm assuming there is something wrong with my account. Just changed my address on ccard so that could be it.

Cheers

Ben
