if you have a payg o2 phone, call customer services and tell them you want to keep your existing number but are going to change networks (orange/ vodaphone or whatever) and in order to buy your loyalty they offer you £5 credit to stay with them.
just agree and hey presto you have £5 worth of calls/ texts to use straight away

its a bit devious but nice to get something back.

Yeah  A few months ago my 12 month contract on THREE was due to the end and I called to cancel it and to ask if I can keep my number on PAYG :) And what you think? :giggle: The guy offered my the new 12 month contract with 11 months free with no cashback involved! so now I'm enjoying my 500 minutes and 100 texts for FREE :w00t: And gonna pay only £30 for the 12-th month!
And even more! My boyfriend did the same and got all the 12 months FREE on the 12 months contract!!

Oooh, nice one

I'll have to keep it in mind and see if I'd be able to get Vodafone to do that for me when my contract's up (plus a free phone if possible :whistling: - though it's doubtful, but worth a try!)

Mine's not up until January though :-(

i tried it and they did not offer me anything! and i got charged for phoning them..:x

Seems a bit of a risky one this, also if everyone suddenly decides to call on mass surely they will 'smell a rat' so to speak.:whistling:

Actually, I think you get that stuff by the gram, but anyway...

Great idea, thanks for this. I wonder if it'll work with the free sims I just got sent.
