500 bonus Priority Club Reward points just for signing up to Priority Club Shopping Newsletter
I just received a PCR member's email from IHG. Priority Club is the loyalty scheme for the Holiday Inn chain of hotels. You get points when you stay in their hotels - typically about 1000 per night, but there are promotions to get earn more points. You can use these to book stays in their hotels - either for 5000 points for a short list of hotels, or between 15,000 and 25,000 for a wider range of hotels. By signing up to this newsletter, it means that you can also earn points by shopping with your favourite high street and online retailers through Priority Club Shopping.
I also just found out from HKUD member "ahenry" that you can convert Virgin Flying Club points into Priority Club points, especially as Virgin points do expire if you haven't flown with them for a while!

I confirm that I received an email at 2.31pm yesterday entitled, "Earn 500 points when you sign up for the Priority Club Shopping newsletter" with the following text:
"Did you know that you can earn points by shopping with your favourite high street and online retailers through Priority Club Shopping? Register today to receive the Priority Club Shopping newsletter and earn 500 bonus points just for signing up. With tons of information about new shops, offers and seasonal discounts, you'll never miss out again.
Don't wait! Sign up today and earn 500 Priority Club points!"
I wonder if the PCR email is targeting select people rather than being a general promotion to all PCR members. Hope this helps clarify matters.

Your Priority Club Shopping account must be set to receive special offer emails at the time of the awarding of Priority Club bonus points in order to receive the 500 bonus points. Please allow 4-6 weeks from the end of the promotional period for points to be awarded.
i.e. you probably wont get your points for 4-6 weeks from signing up

Many thanks "SingingDwarf" for bringing back a bit of credibility for me! I should have looked for the terms and conditions but I know a few people voted cold because they didn't see the instant boost in points! It was the same for me but I know I signed up!
