Why Cold Vote???

I think you're confusing life insurance and accidental death insurance. You can get £100,000 of accidental death cover for around £5 a month. On a pro-rata basis £5,000 of cover for a year is worth about £3.

Apparently the chance of your meeting death by way of an accident is very low. And the insurers usually have a lot of exclusions - almost anything risky.

it does cover you for skiing and other winter sports but not ski jumping or "race and rally" type exclusions.:)

admittedly not much use to you:p
but for us poorish folk this is worth having. also for pensioners who are under 70.
i remember as a young new dad i worried what would happen to my family if i died, cos they wouldnt have enough to put me underground never mind survive, so i would have been grateful for this if it had come along.;-)

I got my partner to fill in the form, the company were immediately on the phone with a quote and hardish sell - however no mention of the free cover. A written quote is coming so maybe it will be with that. If it is then i vote it a good find of someting different!!
Thanks for trying at least OP

thats what happened to me too. but t+c state that a quote is all that is required to take out this free cover.just stick to your guns when it comes to the crunch and quote their own t+c at them.
