A heads up to everyone about this thursdays Evening Standard.

Thursday 1st March
Exclusive Film Screenings
This week our popular Evening Standard Film Club continues with the chance to see The Last King of Scotland and Deja-Vu at exclusive screenings as part of the 'After Dark' season at the IMAX. We have 75 pairs of tickets to each film to be won.

Most likely there will be a special code in the Evening standard that day which will be necessary to participate.

Will update.

lol my bf is, unlike me I must add :giggle: , all intellectual n stuff - he reads 4 papers each morning (and not the fun ones either...zzz). That's why I said we could really do with some money-off vouchers for newspapers. ;-) ;-)

I'm more of a metro/evening standard/lite/london paper kinda girl but sometimes there are pretty pictures in the bigboy papers too so I do have a flick through on occasion :giggle:

Disclaimer: In no way do I mean to class the metro/evening standard/lite/london paper as inferior to any other daily publications. I love you all. Oops umm, also.... orthodox feminists out there....please don't kick my a$$. I'll burn my bra tmorrow! Promise!

EDIT - kelly I wanna be your groupie too!!!!!! ....I'm gonna sulk until I'm a groupie!! :giggle: Ok...I'll bribe you with candy! Like hubbabubba? :whistling:

Hmm.. I followed the link to the website, and followed the "click here" link... logged in.. and then it asked me which movie I would like to see... the choice was between Last King of Scotland and Lord of the Rings.

The code was asked for... so just taking a random stab at it I entered in IMAX, and to my surprise the next page I got said "thank you for entering the competition, blah blah blah"

So is the code actually IMAX, or does everyone get the congrats page regardless of code?

hmmm...not too sure boonkoh...i'll give it a shot..

Edit: ok did that boonkoh....got the same message...I guess we'll only find out if we get email confirmation (not that it mentions there being any form of confirmation) or the tickets arrive on our doorsteps.

N.B. it is a competition after all so maybe we'll never know lol GOOD LUCK ANYWAY!!!!
