This game is a true classic and one that stuck with me through the years. I was more than overjoyed to find this for free download and even more overjoyed to find that it worked flawlessly with Vista of all things. Most games ike this require some kind of Dosbox style program which I find pretty dubious.

This is a truly straightforward download, exe, play file with no problems that I have come across. If you ever played Alien Breed then you will surely be up for another go. If you never played this game you've nothing to lose having a go now.

Just click on the little floppy disk icon on the link page.

Enjoy.

I'll add the controls here so they're seperate.

Arrows - control movement.
Ctrl - fire weapon
Space - access computer terminals
Shift - change weapon (once purchased))

If you have any questions on gameplay elements just leave a comment. I'll keep my eye on this thread and try and help out if I can.

http://www.games4win.com/download/cannon-fodder

Thats a link to a cannon fodder download, which as you are no doubt aware is brilliant. I've downlaoded it and it seems to work fine on my computer the only issue is it won't support mouse controls. You have to use the arrow keys with Space and Ctrl filling in for the mouse buttons.

I think this may have something to do wIth the fact that it's a Megadrive emulator and it might be possible to get a mouse to work with it I just don't know how. Maybe someone who was a bit more tech savvy could work it out.

Either way it runs pretty well and is probably worth a download simply for the theme tune - 'WAR, never been so much fun'

I think there were 2 (if not more) mcdonals games. I vaguely remember one on the amiga and one on the game gear - the game gear one was def a platform shooter type thing, but i cant remember the name!

Shall be checking this out, but as a side note anyone in their huntings of amiga emulators/ games been able to find w2 little gems i absolutely loved that went by the name of FLOOD and X-OUT ?

Flood had a security feature involving finding a certain number of x on a poster (where x-item)

and didnt zool have a wheel you had to match the code up on............

god the amiga days were cool, even DRM was cool!

Yeah I remember that game, was pretty cool!
There was also another one that fun to play - brutal sports football or something?

Spent many, many hours playing swos, k240, champ manager, test drive 2, lotus turbo challenge, frontier elite II. Happy memories

www.the-underdogs.info has a lot of old games available too.

You could install winuae and then amikit from amikit.com which is free, but you will need an amiga rom file to create a full working amiga on your pc for amiga games, i can send you a rom file if you wish.... or you can go to amigaworld.net or amiga.org and find out about the new amiga's on sale,
