Apply for Tickets - Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special

Grab your scorecards and dust off your dancing shoes, Strictly Come Dancing is back for a one off Christmas Special!

Packed full of glitz, glamour, show-stopping moves and more sequins than ever before, this fabulous show is putting the sparkle back into Christmas on BBC One.

The legendary Bruce Forsyth and his glamorous co-host Tess Daly will once again host this BBC One extravaganza to be broadcast on Christmas Day.

Due to the popularity of this show, we are operating a random draw.

If you have been one of the lucky ones who visited Television Centre or the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool during the 2009 series, then you aren't eligible to apply for tickets for this Christmas Special.

You can apply at any time until Tuesday 8 December at 10pm.

No applications will be accepted after this date and time.

You can apply for a maximum of two tickets per household.

Please note that entering the random draw does not guarantee tickets and you will only be notified of your successful application on receipt of your tickets.

Please note that the dresscode is glamorous. Strictly no jeans.

For info this is at Television Centre in London. Bit too far from the Midlands for us - but heat added as this will benefit others.

heat added. just beware if you do get tickets they give out more than there are seats incase people don't turn up, so you have to get there early and queue up, (outside i think) so be prepared. would still love to go but too far, and working

It would mean so much to me if I could win seats to the actual show! My dad is 70 now, and I want him to find some more joy in life (he's pretty down at the moment) and it really pains me. And if I can know that I made some difference and could make him really happy before the inevitable, whatever that means, in case this life is all there is, then I think I'd be able to carry on and not hate myself for not giving everything to attain that. I just wish I had the money to buy these tickets (I'm only 20, and I earn £4.83 an hour :( and I'm trying to juggle this and uni and its all too much, so money really is an issue). I wish I could overthrow capitalism, lol. I'm such an idealist :(

Thank you for the post! Who knows... it's worth a shot :santa:

I really hope you get some tickets too... So (though I would like some tickets) I am purposefully not applying for any in the hope that it increases the chances that you will get some for your Dad instead.

Happy Christmas :santa:

Anyone heard back off this yet? Applied for two tickets for my girlfriend (no, honestly) but am assuming I would have heard back by now. Or I'm just impatient... :)
