this is only a 16 minute screening?
#2
It looks like the full film ?????????????? :? I'm puzzled!!!!!!!!!!
#3
it's a 16-minute trailer for Fox's upcoming 3D sci-fi actioner Avatar
#4
It must be quick in and out!!! Screenings at birmingham at 6pm and then again at 6.30pm!!
#6
Whats the point of watching 15 mins , all they will do is show all the best bits, like they do even when it's a 2 min trailer !!!

voted cold !
#7
If it was nearer to Leeds I would definately go to this, I know it is only 16 mins but the 3D technology used on this film is brand new and is supposed to be mind blowing. Fingers crossed there will be more previews near to me soon.
#8
got 2 for glasgow 6.30 but dont think i will use as its a 30 min drive to it:( didnt realise its a short 15 min film
#9
win, even for 16 minutes, seeing this epic film is worth the trip...

Who are these people who vote things cold that they have no concept of? Anyone voting a 16 minute preview of the most anticipated sci-fi / special effects film in ages has no business on an avatar thread, and has no idea who James Cameron is.

It'll probably be the clip they showed at Comic Con, and that was not the 'best bits' but rather an extended intro scene.

???? I know I'll just open up a random thread and post a random opinion.

so will it be a 3d screening?
#12
It is a 3D film so I assume all the showings are in 3D.

On the official website it says

"The worldwide trailer launch will be presented in all formats, including IMAX 3D, IMAX 2D, Digital 3D, Digital 2D and 35mm 2D. The trailer will also be available online."

I hope it's in 3D in Cardiff - I know Cineworld usually screen a lot of Digital 3D films so fingers crossed

@bingosbear
Yeh, why would you want the option to go and see a trailer for one of the most anticipated films of the year, when it costs you absolutely nothing whatsoever?
Shame we can't give negtive rep.

It was a selection of scenes from the first half of the film, it looked incredible though.

I saw it in IMAX 3D.
