  If you own the original Borderlands on Steam then you can also get 10% off a Borderlands 2 pre-order on there until 30th July. (£26.99)
  
  Not as cheap as the likes of Tesco Entertainment etc but probably a lot less messing around, especially if you want it at launch.

  You have to buy it, it'll stay at the discounted 75% off for a day after the weekend is over so you can decide :) One advantage is you'll already have the game downloaded from the free weekend so you can just jump right back in.

  I thought they never fixed the bugs in the PC version? It was a horrible port, you couldn't bind the controls etc

  You can use an Xbox pad natively iirc
  
  Or just use DS3/Xpadder to use any other pad

  I got it on pc ( pirate version ) over a year ago, there was no screen tearing, it uses cell shading so looks different to most games, check youtube "max settings...game" on any game your thinking of getting, to see what it looks like.

  Always wondered what Borderlands was like, heard people found it fantastic but I just can't get into it. I can't connect to anybodies game, I have to my host my own.

  Already got this game on Xbox 360 would definitely recommend giving it a go. It kicks butt. No idea what its like on PC though.
