Call of duty: Modern warfare 3 - 2 Free maps and game mode
Two new Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 maps and a game mode are now available on Xbox Live.
Erosion: Make your way through Mediterranean ruins and ancient aqueducts, using leftover Roman masonry for thousand-year-old cover in this new “Face Off” map. Aground: Head to Scotland’s Orkney Islands for the latest “Face Off” map, where treacherous cliff faces, networks of caves and the rusted and ruined remains of a grounded transport ship provide for constant combat.
Face Off mode in Modern Warfare 3 is designed for smaller groups of players. It provides Small maps, custom-created to have sight lines and lay outs to keep you in the action in 1v1 or 2v2

You do know why they made 2 free smaller maps : yeah ? for 1V1 or 2V2
This is the last game on the franchise that Microsoft are getting the DLC early for due to the fact they had a deal for a few years that they would have the DLC before Sony but I believe this contract ends after MW3. Unless Microsoft get a new deal the DLC on black ops 2 the DLC should come out on the same time across all formats
We'll find out at E3 in June if they've done another deal no doubt.
The maps have gotten progressively worse with each release, and the unlock-this unlock-that aspect of it has really made the experience a pain in the ass, I max leveled CO4 and have zero desire to do so with the others, starting from scratch with no decent weapons or perks is almost unplayable.
If COD4 was updated often enough t remove hackers, and had coop multiplayer I'd have never bought another version.

there were some good maps added for the proper sniping styles from cod4, mw2, waw, etc. but mw3 fell in my eyes and black ops was ok, it was held up by zombies for me. the maps they bring out though are just ruined by people using dual machine pistols and over powered guns, they say they fix stuff, but ive seen no great improvement in this game at all.
