You would be wise to download....

I thought of that all on my own...

Product Description

A little book for those in search of words to calm and inspire. In this gift book His Holiness the Dalai Lama imparts his message: the importance of love, compassion and forgiveness.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama describes how to bring wisdom and compassion into our busy, stressful everyday lives.

A beautiful selection of words from His Holiness that will help you to face difficult emotions such as anger in yourself and in others with genuine acceptance and understanding.

The only little gift book based on the words of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, this book should have tremendous appeal especially during the holiday season.

From the Publisher

This book is based on the Dalai Lama's bestselling book, The Power of Compassion

From the Author

I am a Buddist and my whole way of training is according to the Buddists teaching or Buddha Dharma. Although I speak from my own experience, I feel that no one has the right to impose his or her beliefs on another person. I will not propose to you that my way is best. The decision is up to you. If you find some point which may be suitable for you, then you can carry out experiements for yourself. If you find that it is of no use, them you can discard it

His Holiness the XIV DALAI LAMA

About the Author

The Dalai Lama is the spiritual leader of the TIbetan people. He lives in exile in Dharamsala, India. He was awarded the Nobel peace prize in 1989. He is the author of many books on Buddhism including The Four Noble Truths.

A review from Amazon.....

How important is this book? Well it changed my view of the world and how I react to it. It clearly showed me that my anger and frustrations were of no harm to anybody but me. Well they may have had nagative affects on other people but the main loser was myself. It's not easy to change yourself but the first step is recognise that there is another better way. I'm now a better happier person and if that is not worth the price of this book I don't know what is.

When a book about wisdom sells so ineffectively that its reduced from 4.99 to zero you have to question how wise the perspectives are!

The more you comment on here, the broader your perspective? Not sure I follow.

Dalai Lama is definitely over-rated, the same as UGG footwear. Celebrity endorsement doesn't mean it is wonderful:)

So, 2 HUKD comments in a year makes his perspectives narrow? Skewed? Less valid? Not sure I follow your meaning. Surely someone who spends less time on here, would have more time for other things, such as broadening his perspective? Go download the book my child lol.

Ps - heat.

The Dalai Lama Walks into Domino's Pizza, hands the cashier a £10 note and says "Can you make me one with everything?"

Somebody had to say it...

How do you know it was selling ineffectively? It's not uncommon to see buddhist ebooks free on the internet.
