Double Clubcard points at Tesco Mon-Wed

Just back from my local Tesco in Bangor (NI) and noticed that you can get double Clubcard points when you shop on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. I cannot see this featured on the Tesco website or if it exists at all stores.

This seems to be no time limit on it.

Just spotted that this offer expires on 18th March 2007 and is limited to 3 tranactions per day. Strange that it finishes on a Sunday !!!

Is this every week or just this week?

From the poster I saw in the store, it seemed to be indefinitely; no finishing date on it.

Seems good then, worth changing the day you do your shopping if you can. Pity it isnt online, because we do all of our shopping via internet

Was in my local Tesco on Sunday and no poster there, maybe it is just selected stores?

Maybe it has just gone up due to bad publicity from last nights tv show, and them changing their refund policy

From what I have read, they are going to be losing a lot of customers

Used to get a full refund and allowed to keep the product, so you got it for free, if they charged you too much

There was a problem with people getting x-boxs for free with this, and everyone abused it

Ended up with tesco saying that you now only get double the difference back (the people who got the xboxs would of only got £5 back, instead of a free xbox)

I know, some people ruin it for other genuine people, but you cant really blame them, I am sure we would of all tried our luck if we knew about it (Lol, although I wouldnt have the nerve to do it! I am brave online hiding behind a computer screen!)

I have found Tesco to be the worst at overcharging, so the change of refund policy will make me think twice of going there.

it is even worse online i have to get in contact with them on every other shop only ever got the money back even instore .What annoys me the most is when they only scan one pack of meat and charge for 2 at that price even though they are differant weights and its allways the dearer pack they scan typical !.

Umm agree with you there...

I've just had to chase up my club card points for the 4 time since August last year - wanted to exchange them for deals, and send my hubby to be on one of those racing days and now they say they've rolled them over, even though they should have been given in Feb's statement (they were earned in December!!!)

What was the bad publicity???

I read the telegraph artlcile of the R&R
