The dropbox account is free to start with, this adds to the basic storage you are allocated.

box is free aswell.. 5gb usually, but a quick hack or a little request on xda
will get you a free 50gb account.
If you have a rooted android phone go to
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1383808
and follow the instructions
If not search xda and there's threads where you put your email and one of
the good people such as myself will set you up a 50gb account :)

Wow, that was soooooo funny, I have never seen that before.
Ooops, yes I have, but it was soooo long ago I forgot about it.
If you are going to post on here and add to a deal, then at least give a link to where the added stuff can be found.
Clicking on the link shows me straight away where I can get 50Gb of storage.....Oh wait.

There you go Sworld, that's how to do it.
"During this beta period, we are also offering additional free space to test automatic uploading of photos and videos. For every 500MB of photos and videos automatically uploaded, you'll receive another 500MB space bonus, up to 4.5GB total"
The box deal is better (in my opinion) as all I did was sign up and got 50gb instantly for the life of the account.
Offers 10Gb for free but very easy to upload and download share etc plus you can get apps for ios and android!!
agreed - dunno why people are bringing BOX into this thread when its nothing like dropbox in terms of folder sync / auto backup etc
at the moment all my important files / folders get auto backed up daily / weekly to my dropbox folder where I know they will then get auto synced online. Cant see how BOX can do this at all

it would be commercial suicide to remove the free GB after the beta period. I cant see this happening at all.
Thanks OP - now have 10.2GB free
HOT!

Yes, but it doesn't say that the storage won't be reduced after the trial beta period does it?
