DVDFab DVD Copy is the most powerful and flexible DVD copying/burning software which can copy and backup any DVD with just one or a few clicks. You can use DVD Copy’s many settings to customize the ouput, burn it to a blank DVD or hard drive/media server, compress content to fit on smaller discs, the choice is yours!
In addition, the DVD copy speed is super fast, and the quality is so excellent. It is definitely the right all-in-one solution for making backup copies of your expensive DVD collection.

I used the free trial a few years back and it did such a good job I actually paid for the full version..
since then I've updated it regularly and there's nothing I've tried to 'back up' or copy that it couldn't handle..
Well worth the chance to get your hands on it today for free.

Erm no -
but it will remove copy protection 8)

if you're worried about being legal, just use it to back up copies of DVDs you own..
not the ones from blockbusters (_;)

If you're refering to copyright infringement then in some cases yes. It's usually ok as long as you're not making money from selling copies.

Can you use this to rip DVDs to avi files?
#21
I've just tried to download and it says the file is 'corrupt or invalid' :( What am I doing wrong?
#22
Has anyone tried to back up any of their dvds that are protected by ripguard with this?

I'm a bit peeved that i'm prevented from putting stuff i have bought onto my generic mobile media device because of this protection. Not sure why its xorrect that i should buy the same thing in multiple formats depending on how i would like to watch it.

You have to install and activate it before the Giveaway offer for the software is over.

Trouble is that if you ever need to reinstall it, you can't because GAOTD puts it's own code into the program to prevent reinstallation.

Not a criticism - just letting people know what the deal is!

This software was available as a giveaway on January 27, 2011, this giveaway is not available any more. shame.:(

I've used this software for years now and can highly recommend it.

I agree there are probably concerns with copyright, but I use the software to create a backup copy which I store on my home media server (then store the DVD in my attic). The software is also great for creating a copy to play on your iPod/iPhone.

DVDFab DVD Copy, formerly known as DVD to DVD or Platinum, is an up-to-date DVD Copy/Cloner/Burner/Decrypter that can read, rearrange, and manipulate the content of a DVD to suit your needs.
DVDFab DVD Copy can remove all known DVD copy protections, like CSS, CPRM, CPPM, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs, ARccOS, RipGuard, FluxDVD, CORE X2, etc., thus to copy any DVD to hard drive, or to any blank DVD disc, including DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R DL, and DVD-R DL, with very fast speed about 10-20 minutes. Plus DVDFab DVD Copy will be constantly updated to remove latest DVD copy protections to support all DVD movies.
DVDFab DVD Copy makes perfect 1:1 ratio clone, and can also compress DVD-9 to a single DVD-5 with amazing output effect.
DVDFab DVD Copy also has the ability to copy discs that are badly scratched or damaged. Even if the IFO files can't be read, it will allow you to make a copy of the movie content using Main Movie or Customize copy modes. It can recover from most VOB read errors and supports NTSC and PAL content (but does not convert from NTSC to PAL or vice versa). In addition, multi-core CUPs are supported by DVDFab DVD Copy, so the copy speed is super fast. DVD Copy has a worldwide user base and great support in its own forum and from the DVDFab staff via email.
See? DVDFab DVD Copy is the answer to all your concerns about DVD copy, burning, clone and decryption.
