This free download is available for 24 hours on 4 January, 2009.

Elbow are one of the best bands the UK has ever produced. Criminally underrated for their first three albums, the band grabbed the recognition they deserve -- and won 2008's Mercury Music Prize -- with fourth album "The Seldom Seen Kid". They also played one of our favourite gigs of the year in London's Apple Store, and a recording of that exclusive show is available on iTunes. For today only, you can download their Apple store live version of hit single ?ounds For Divorce?bsolutely free! If you like what you hear, why not find out more?

OK I know very little about Itunes.
I have the latest version and I have downloaded all these Christmas freebies.
I can't see any of the videos though.
All I get is the sound and a green and pupleish/pink screen.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

hmm seems the video files have an ".m4v" extension to it. i used Quicktime or i-Tunes to play the Dido video.

"The M4V file is a multimedia container file format primarily used by Apple for videos downloaded from their iTunes store. The M4V file is essentially the same as an MP4 file, except that the M4V file includes Apples proprietary copyright management software"

although someone else says "It's a function of the codecs not the player"

Solution: try Windows Media player? or VLC?

Make sure you have installed quicktime. If still does not work try downloading K Lite Codec Pack (Google)

Had a bad day yesterday. Wasn't doing much on my PC.

Anyway, I've now been to the Nvidia website and updated my graphics card drivers.
Really easy, there is an automated option.
It never used to be like that. I remember it being a right pain to update graphics card drivers.
Changed Quicktime settings back to how they were originally and it is fine when playing using Quicktime directly.
It is still a bit jerky when playing through i-tunes but I doubt if I'll be doing it that way normally.
Thanks for everyones help.
