Free Equifax Credit Report as stated but card details required which is why it's in the deals and not the freebies section.

NOTE: this is a 30 day trial and if it is not cancelled before the 30 day period it will cost £6.99 per month so make sure you cancel it!!

One trial per account every 12 months. The free trial is available for new customers only.

Not sure how this will go down as its my first post!

I did this the other day. It’s a very detailed report and you can cancel straight after the report is delivered, and what was good, there was no hard sell when calling to cancel, it was all very easy. So IMO, this is a good post, so have some heat.

How to cancel: It makes it very easy, just call the free-phone number 0800 656 9000..as mentioned below..

TO MODERATORS - I posted this on the deals section as it requires you to submit card details which i thought made it a deal rather than a freebie. Am i right as this has now been moved to freebies section.

i did this the other day when it was posted i also did it via quidco what a scam and a joke they are .. was meant to be 8 quid but they put it through as 5 quid whats that all about.....plus i have never received any cashback from them since joining... and yes i have used them all my purchases say tracked and have done for 4 months now no one gets back to you .......

I did this yesterday but it wouldn't recognise my card details. I haven't seen if quidco have attempted to track it. I'd suggest anyone who has signed up for it to check their bank statements to see if equifax have already charged you for it despite offering a month's free trial.

Heat from me, I have used the free trial and cancelled no problems. I now check once a year and pay the monthly fee for 1 month and again have had no problem cancelling or hard sell. The good thing is you don't need to re-register.
