Careful with false sense of security, Android leaks like a sieve, best to dedicate a device for secure transactions where you don't run all those third party apps and games..

Stick to apps from official sources & Android is fine .....data is safer than in the iCloud

I've tried your link which works fine, but upon making my own way there by typing http://eset.co.uk/Home/Mobile-Security into the address bar all I get offered is a 30 day trial.

Just wondering why your link gives different options?

Could it be because I am trying it from a mobile?

Clicking on link Get Deal takes you to promo page but the link that i have posted in description is for educational purposes just to read and understand what is this app...

I used to download a lot from google play store and my antivirus came up positive on a number of occasions. It dented my trust in them. I suppose some of them could have been false.

How does this compare to Avast?

It is tough to conclude which is the best on these two apps. Nevertheless, it is easier to say that the free version of avast mobile security and anti-virus is better than the free version of Eset mobile security and anti-virus.

If you need detailed specifics, please read this!

When I click download on the link it asks for my details and says they'll email me, is this the same for everyone?

This isn't an official eset promotion, it's a promotion being advertised by a third party reseller for eset

Im a registered Eset reseller and there is no mention of this in the partner portal and it normally always notifys of customer offers which is how i know it's not an official deal from them

If you who.is the domain it belongs to a guy called George Kazan who also owns this website: http://www.buyeset.com.au/

It is a company called Microbe who are a platinum Eset partner

But, why is this website still alive if it is not working?
If it does not working or promo is over, why it does not inform about it?
It would be nice to infor Mr. Kazan about that and ask him for shuting down that ir putting some detail on that website, is it working or not just for people who stuck on their website waiting for treats but nothing happens.

So, Neo1607, we are waiting some info from you, just because you are Eset reseller you will first know if Eset have some special deals. Please inform us. ;)

P.S. ESET in USA has giving away 2 year licences, did you know about it? It was about month ago....
#20
I didn't say it wasn't working or anything, was just pointing out that's it was a reseller website and not official eset so as not to confuse people :D

Only official promo from eset this month is Buy 3 for the price of 2 on any of their software, dunno about any other current deals, last months deal was 25% extra free on their licenses, so buy 12 months and get 15 etc

I am also an ESET partner so I second the comments from neo.

This does not work and yet it has gone up 100 degrees since yesterday. Am I missing something?
#23
I would also recommend CM Security which is always free and offers real time protection.

You mean I should pay attention to the page where it tells me the app permissions before installing?

No way!1!11

Bit of a stupid comment saying Android is a sieve when what you're really saying is people should be more careful about the apps they install...
#25
I use lookout which gives more than just antivirus like remote wipe, find device etc - is this one better still?

Thanks for the AV Comparatives report, a good read if you're unsure which product to use.

No email from Eset for 3 days :(

No email received (tried all my email addresses). Voted accordingly.

No email from Eset for 3 days :(

It's from a third party Eset reseller so the e-mail would come from them not from eset directly but I think the guy has given out a lot more licenses than he expected so I doubt anyone else will receive theirs
