Championship challengers Derby County already have a Premier League scalp in this year’s FA Cup, having come back from a goal behind to knock West Bromwich Albion out of the running. It sets up an intriguing East Midlands encounter against Leicester City, with the Premier League champions looking vulnerable.

The Foxes haven’t played the Rams since the two sides were in the Championship in 2014, although before that Leicester were very much on top, with eight wins in the past nine meetings.

Derby now are within sniffing distance of the play-off places, having brought back manager Steve McClaren in October. Quite the return for a man who was only sacked by the club in May 2015.

Summary

Derby County v Leicester City (Kick-off 7.55pm). Coverage of the fourth-round match at Pride Park, as the Championship hosts take on the Premier League champions in an East Midlands derby. The Foxes have won nine of the last 10 meetings between the sides, although the most recent match took place back in January 2014. Derby manager Steve McClaren is currently in his second spell with the Rams, having left the club in 2015 to take charge of Newcastle United in what proved to be an ill-fated move for the former England boss.

I never get to watch it & don't particularly like watching TV on my monitor

my luck is in as my daughter is in some dance performance at school & my wife has gone to watch her [yawn - I asked her what her words were & she said nothing/ apparently no words by anybody are spoken for 90 minutes!]

Great! You get to watch 22 overpaid blokes dancing about for 90 minutes instead, with little to be heard from them lol.
