If you own an older Samsung handset, you shouldn’t have to wait too long to get your hands on Nougat.

Samsung has promised to roll the update out to the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlock), Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A8 “within the first half of this year.

I got s7 edge.

Not the most recent Marshmallow but will keep some happy on some networks - tbh got a bit sick and tired of reading about it on every tech site

oops should have said Nougat - sorry.

Thanks for the heads up OP - just updated. My Phone is unlocked, carrier specific updates may follow for others.

Updated mine 2 days ago. Different UI, battery seemed better yesterday...but finally they have added a "saved wifi networks" and an "auto connect" that my old Sony devices had. Missed those

I have an edge, bought from Samsung directly
#18
Mine still says up to date.
Don't know about anyone else's phone but there is no "About Phone" on an S7 (It's About Device) and there is no "System Updates" either. I knew what you meant but seems weird to have it worded differently.

Also waiting for S7 Edge, think depends on carrier and when they give the ''All OK''

no update for my S7 on EE :(
#21
sorry not working for all, that's because you're first movers!
#22
Can never get fed up with Marshmallows they are yummy :)
#23
My S7 Edge is completely dead it started freezing and rebooting with funny lines on the screen then I couldn't get into recovery freezing there too got it going again and then it completely and utterly died :( Samsung want it back and I have over a two week wait proper crap service meanwhile using my work A5 2016 and it really shows how good the s7 edge is over a cheaper phone. is Nougat running well I want to try
#24
Seems like Vodafone S7 users will be getting the update on Monday 23rd.
#25
not really used to my deals going cold, I'm very discouraged :)
#26
Just got my manual update on EE S7 and liking what I see so far.
#27
The BTU release for this was on 17/01/17. As for those on network contracts go to Sammobile for updates https://www.sammobile.com/news/
