Good to try but on HTC desire even after moved to SD card it still took up 30mb phone storage and in total it is a 50mb app. Just a bit too heavy to be usefull. Loads well once installled and loaded but first load everytime takes to long, unistalled.

too large to be of any use, dolphin hd is only 1.3mb :p how can a browser possibly be 30+mb.
Its also slow compared to dolphin hd, when you zoom in it takes a few seconds to render the page again. installed and removed

Well it's a beta, rather than a full release (like Dolphin HD).
With Firefox performance (along with other features) change frequently and drastically (often) between the alpha/beta and production releases.

Size and performance issues are being addressed. The problem relates to the way that teh Android Development kit is designed, expect smaller and faster from beta 2:
