Job Seekers Thursday
The Chinese State Circus has thrown open its doors to 200 lucky people receiving Job Seekers allowance.
Beijing was proud to host the Olympic Games for the first time in China in 2008 so in 2009 to mark this auspicious occasion, THE CHINESE STATE CIRCUS will be bringing a brand new spectacular to the UK and will sensationally allow the first 200 people on Job Seekers Allowance absolutely FREE admission on each Thursday on their current tour.

The new show encompasses world class acrobatics, gymnasts & martial Arts from the famous Shaolin Warriors – a show completely unequalled in any production of physical theatre.

This action-packed production will be touring Europe with a sensational show that combines the martial arts warriors from the Shaolin Temple & The Tai An Acrobatic Troupe from the foot of Mount Tai – one of China’s sacred mountains and home to some of the countries greatest poets, artists, scholars & warriors for over 2000 years.

The world’s greatest acrobats join forces with the undisputed masters of martial arts stretching the limits of human achievement in an extraordinary show combining a dazzling spectacle, unbelievable acrobatics plus potential Olympic Gold & Silver medallists of the future in a unique collaboration of the art form created for the Emperor in the “Forbidden City”. Legendary fabled characters from the world-famous Peking Opera will host the all-new production coming directly from the Olympic nation.

The full cultural range of The Chinese State Circus see’s the finest martial arts exponents of the famous Shaolin Temple, Olympians, Acrobats and specially composed music combine. The whole show is even narrated by one of the most famous characters in Chinese Folklore - the Monkey King.

And the whole extravaganza can be witnessed FREE for everyone receiving a Job Seekers allowance (proof of this & proof of identity must be provided, and only one ticket per person is allowed).

Artistes have been selected from China’s leading acrobatic troupe. Including back-flipping acrobats spiralling through rotating hoops and a dizzying succession, an array of beautiful plate spinning oriental divas.

Further spice comes from candelabra balancing knotted contortionists, Swinging Chinese pole balancing, Beautiful Beijing Bicycle balancers and a lusciously set and costumed performance of the Lion Dance. Then to top it all the deadly grace of martial arts from the Shaolin school of Kung Fu, Wu Shu and Qigong.

The Job Seekers Thursdays is available to the first 200 people who turn up with their Job Seekers Allowance card and proof of id, only one free ticket is allowed per person & the offer is only allowed on Thursdays. It is not allowed against tickets already booked.

You should all just relax. You're just giving them what they want. They want to be talked about. If they really wanted to give something to the unemployed then they would not be offering 200 tickets to the 2 million out of work people in this country. It's just a publicity stunt.

when i worked in london for a very prestigious company - we used to get these all the time - and for theatre etc

i used to do a loopy - as they should be given to care centres - family centres - schools and to people on benefits etc

why do a lot of people think everyone who is getting benefits is a scrounger - BTW - same here as mg - i am not on benefits - just airing my opinion
