Cars are an art form, and few make the case as clearly as the Lotus Esprit. Originally unveiled as a concept car in 1972, the Esprit carried the flag as one of the great British supercars for more than 30 years. The Esprit’s evolution took it from a naturally-aspirated four-cylinder to the twin-turbo V8 of 2002. The internally developed all-aluminum 90-degree V8 was code-named “Type 918.” Horsepower potential was near 500, but the 918 was detuned to a very healthy 350 HP to accommodate the limitations of the transmission. In the Lotus tradition, lightness has always been a factor in its performance. Acceleration is brisk and top speeds are in excess of 175 MPH. The Esprit’s classic wedge design, now in its fifth emanation, was revamped in 1993 by designer Julian Thomson. Whether you choose the Esprit for its breathtaking performance or its timeless design, getting behind the wheel will is always a thrill.

Dull pack apart from this, and the 650S!

The NAPA pack is not behaving on mine .. I have the ultimate edition /vip/car pass and afaik it's supposed to give 5 (edit 6 ) packs 1 each month i think until feb/march 2015 and allow you to import to your garage each car in the pack 1 time only for free using no credits in game for each car in pack . Is that right ?

EDIT it's also broken for a few others charging credits instead of being able to import once in to garage/showroom for free

Complete power off and power on after installing DLC has fixed it for me

Most cars that are in Horizon 2 are copied from Forza 5. No they DID NOT have to build them from ground up for Horizon 2, only the new cars. The game uses the same engine and the same car models. Different lightning etc does NOT make them new. FOrza 5 had the Esprit as a DLC, therefore it was in the game. They decided for some reason NOT to include the Esprit V8 in Horizon 2 and ad it later in a pack for free. To make it appear as thought they are giving away something for free when it should've been in the game from the start.

Just wondering if this is still available (or other free cars), and if so how do I go about getting it? I'm new to the Xbox so very familiar with things yet. TIA.

First thing you should do if you haven't done it is download the free "Forza Hub" app.

Then if you visit the hub say once a week to see if you have been rewarded credits or new cars for playing the game and visiting hub

When you have rewards they will be sent to the game so when in game pause it and on the top menu go to Social and the Message centre will tell you that you have been sent credits/car select the message centre and press A and then "Gifts" it will show gifts press on them to download them into the game.

As well as several free cars from dontasciime's link, there was a 1983 Audi Sport Quattro and 100,000 credits waiting for me in the app. Thanks for the help guys. I've just progressed in the game to Nice and now the message centre is accessible. There were a couple of other cars in there along with the Audi Quattro and credits from the app. I couldn't find the free cars eg. Lotus Esprit, Subaru Legacy etc. but did notice elsewhere that they were already purchased. How do I change cars in the game, and will these free cars be available to other users or will they need to "purchase" these free cars and download the app for themselves? Sorry to be a pain!

The cars work on a one time FREE to import them into your garage. (E.G no credit charge)

Go to Hub in game and Showroom to download etc.
