Never be charged by your network again for 0800 calls. No hassle.

This app will save you money by routing your call through a landline when you ring 0800/0500/0808 numbers from your mobile. The call will be free for users on a mobile contract and for pay as you go, standard call rates apply.

How it works: We route your call through a normal landline number, when the call connects just wait and you will be connected to the 0800 number you dialled. (Oh and ignore the voice asking you to input your number, that's for people who don't have the app.)

I been manually using the number for years but this app does all the hard work for you don't have ring the buster number or put in the # you just ring a 0800 number and this will re route it for you automatic

Using this app from few months. Quite good, if you stuck in queue, they queue for you so your allowance will not be used. Voted hot

its a bit stupid this app, when I tap the app it just shows a page to tick/enable the app. it does not mention anything else.

Can anyone confirm this works? seems like mobiles will always charge you for airtime no matter what the # is...

thanks downloaded the iphone one
#21
Thx too - installed the iPhone app!

0800 numbers are always free on Giffgaff but hot for those locked in a contract.

Surely you have to have active credit to do this.
#24
It is free to call 0800 numbers on Skype.

… for pay as you go, standard call rates apply
Then it’s not free, then.

Its free if you like to pay each month for 2 years ;)
#26
Or another alternative is 0122 825 0800 - except with this it just uses your normal minutes from your contract :)
#27
I've used this for over a year. Only used it a few times but it has always worked.
#28
You can also use Skype for 0800 numbers

It isn't free if you do this. That is the reason everyone got to break their contracts a few years ago.

Installed, thanks!
#32
Well done. Good app, just dial 0800 number. Also checked out the O2 remark, i.e. leave off the first 0, looks incorrect.
#33
So once installed you just dial the 0800 number, don't open the app and it automatically re-directs it for you??

Ive been dialling 0800 numbers from Tesco mobile, by removing the 0 from 0800 and it has been charging me!!!!! Tesco carrier is O2
#35
My operator allows 080 as part of my allowance but heat added anyway :)
#36
Or you can download the app, SAYNOTO0870, which essentially does the same thing!
#37
you can use skype on the iphone or android.

Yes there is one for the iPhone - 0800 Wizard.. Hope that saves you a fortune :)
#39
Tried dropping the 1st zero whilst using an iphone (calling o2 CSD too) and got a big bill . . . sigh
#40
so via this app, does it use your monthly minutes so although one does not get charged, your monthly minutes would get knocked off by how many minutes you've made the call for?
